Suppose I make a cappuccino in the morning, another in the afternoon and a Latte macchiato in the evening. These are all coffees with milk preparation. You would therefore have to perform milk system cleaning every time. Since Jura's cleaning tablets are expensive, I was wondering if you could also do a milk system cleaning in between with just water (of course with the cleaning container en watertube connected) and at the end of the day after the last cup of coffee do a 'full-milk-system-cleaning with Jura cleaning tablets'. Is that okay? Any suggestions?
Hi Dirk-jan, Cleaning the milksystem with water inbetween brews and inbetween days is fine. Although we would like to recommend to clean the milk system atleast two times a week with a cleaning agent like those mentioned from Jura. We understand that cleaning can be an expensive endeavour, but cleaning is important for the longevity of your Jura and quality of your coffeebrews. To reduce cost-per-cleaning, "Melkreiniger 1L" (milk cleaning) of Hendriks Coffee could be a solution. With this liquid-cleaning solution you can clean your Jura 100x for only €15. That means a cost-per-cleaning of only €0,15. See the link below for more details: hendrikscoffee.nl/onderhoudsmiddelen/hc-melkreiniger-10-liter/ Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any further questions. Kind regards, Team Hendriks Coffee
Thanks for the clear answer. I will certainly be careful with my Jura and will not skimp on cleaning products, but with these excellent tips I can continue.
Beste Paulus, De Jura E8 (EC) is aantal weken geleden uitgekomen.
