    Thanks for the heads up on this! Gotta get me one of these! With a little fabrication, this could be set up to do sheet metal stampings for small parts or patch panels. Some of the 3D printing plastics are strong enough to get good aluminum stampings, and decent stampings in mild steel. Also, if you break the 3D printed die, toss it and print another.

    Robert, watching this channel is dangerous for my budget😂. Actually I watched another review of this tool a couple days ago and was impressed. I like the Swag Offroad one, but it’s a kit and more expensive. I figured I have so many HF metalworking tools (E wheel, planishing hammer, tubing roller, etc.) why stop now. If it wasn’t for the HF tools, I don’t think I’d be working with metal as much as I am. I just wish American companies could make these tools more affordable.

    • @G12MXCN
      @G12MXCN 20 годин тому +2

      I have the swag off road finger brake but the bottom die on this HF looks way better. The swag one is just a piece of 90 angle that you have to weld. The HF is a true one piece die. Makes me jealous.

    • @UnconventionalMetal
      @UnconventionalMetal 20 годин тому +2

      @ that’s right I forgot the Swag one is angle iron. I’m definitely getting the HF one then.

      @@UnconventionalMetal harbor freight has really stepped up their quality, I still have a jack that I bought from them when they were mail order only no brick and mortar stores....
