I knew every single twist and turn on this ride before the actual driver even made the moves. Keep looking ahead , not at the skis, and the trail is before your eyes. Also I usually not ever speed up when entering a clearing or lake. Great video and nice sled. Thanks for sharing.
That's a neat sled. I have a Ski Doo too, but it's an old Elan 250 single, I love how light and simple it is, it's a shame there's nothing new that is really comparable. I love that I can throw it in the back of my pickup without ramps or anything, we'll probably never get snowmobiles that light again. The Tundra basically fills the same role, but it's a Cadillac by comparison. Still, very nice sled.
Lovely video :) This is the kind of snowmobiling i love to do. Just a shame Norway is so damn stuck up regarding free riding. At least Sweden is not too far away :) The 600 ACE is a pretty decent engine. Got myself a 49 Ranger last year, and it serves me quite well. The only thing I miss about my old 2-stroke is the smell :P Considering upgrading to a 900 ACE though, for a bit more power, since the 600 ACE struggles to breach 100km/h on flat terrain if there's too much snow.
I"m looking for a good sled for breaking trail in the "back woods" just like what you're doing in this video. I've had the Tundra recommended to me, but I'm wondering if a mountain sled would be better. I want one sled to break the trail and then I'll come back through with my big 2013 Bearcat 4 stroke Limited is over 700 LBS. The Tundra is coming in at the low 500 lbs... so that's a nice weight improvement, but I'm not a big guy and after the Bearcat, I really want something light. Any thoughts on what would be a great trail breaking machine?
I'd prefer the Tundra over a Summit if trail breaking is the purpose and the terrain isn't to steep. The Tundra floats in the snow leaving a low footprint behind, while a Mountain Sled leaves deep tracks in the snow behind I'd guess they will be more difficult for the Bearcat to use.
Just have them lock their arms and stabilize their torso. Counter steer to setup your turn lean. Steer with your weight throttle and brake at that point. Also you can improve your powder skills on hard pack by 1 skiing everywhere you can. Left or downhill was harder for me. Snowmaker by trade on a 550f skandic wt. Wish we had these.
Trevlig film.
Hi! Yes, It's a really nice sled! My box is this one: www.touring.se/skoterbutiken/forvaringsboxar/box-ski-doo-tundra-lt It should be avaliable in Scandinavia.
Totally disagree. The tundra 600 ace is awesome. Impressively quiet, excellent handling and traction. Pretty easy to ride, very reliable and SMOKE FREE ! It's also very easy on the gas. Love mine
videos like these have inspired me to start working for the money to get my own Tundra Xtreme
humansentry 64 Nice feedback, thanks! The Tundra is a really amazing machine, hope You’ll find out Yourself one day

i think the camera only was faced towards the skis

Agreed totally...I have a 1991 tundra and can go there in this snow and probably more...too fancy to heavy

Tundrorna är fantastiska maskiner, har en lite äldre Tundra själv (2013), dock en Xtreme
Have you ever had it off trail with a passenger?

Where can i get one of those boxes mounted over the tunnel?
I'ts an BRP accessory in Sweden, available through BRP dealers
ed libby I was wondering the same! I love my Tundra LT.
what is the box you have? I have a 2019 looking to put a box on it. thanks
In the Idaho Outdoors The box is sold by BRP dealers in Scandinavia.
Is it louder then the 900?
I actually don't know, haven't compared them. The 600 ACE is really quiet.
@@65northphoto that's what I hear. But I hear they do sound different.
4 stroke?
Yes, 600 ACE
Crazy snow

Dude were did you get that nice box for the back of the tundra
It's avaliable from Skidoo dealers in Scandinavia.
wow à 4,38 belle machine. du Québec.
Can it do that when hauling a heavy sled?
Louis Poitras No, You’ll need to break some trails to do that. In powder, the power in the 600 ace and the grip in the soft snow isn’t enough.
Did you take the muffler off? Loudest 600ace ever.
Jay Dee No it’s 100% stock :)
Great vid,,,TFS!
Sick dude
Hi! Good vehicle. I drive the tundra with 550 rotax. I have never seen luggage box like yours. Can you give me part number of this box, please ?
Hi! Yes, It's a really nice sled! My box is this one: www.touring.se/skoterbutiken/forvaringsboxar/box-ski-doo-tundra-lt It should be avaliable in
Scandinavia.
Kjennes den framtung i løssnø synes du?
Snorre Næss Nej, inte alls. Fronten fungerar som en enda bred skida som lyfter framdelen.
Silky saw?
Travis S Yes, but another brand :)
So not a Silky saw then, they take a little getting used to but Silky saws are SHARP and I usually have one on me when riding bikes.
Хороший аппарат!
Да, вот и все!
Алексей Емельяненко А как он сани нормально тащит? Хотя бы 300 кг.
Is that the Sport or LT track length ?
Hi, it's a 154" LT
Too expensive, flashy, heavy and long...keep it simple ride a 2 stroke!!
Long is good providing it has the track.
Your either jealous or not that smart jeff hawkins
Totally disagree.
