Do you get unique concentration per profession, or is it just a single pool and you have to decide which profession to use it on?
EDIT: having got to the end of the video.. Option C i think will arrive sooner than we might like. It also creates a reverse incentive to skill your crafter up to top rank
Option A is ONLY the best strategy IF you can sell more of an item per day than an individual can craft using concentration. And then, they will ONLY start to sell once EVERYTHING that has been made using concentration has sold out. It suggests to me that the best strategy MAY be, to have lots of alts with enough skill for Q2 with concentration crafting, and to cycle through them every day.
The key then becomes - how many can you make each day with concentration. How much demand each day is left over when that supply has been used up. And are there any additional benefits from being max (e.g. picking stats AND adding an embellishment will not be possible using concentration
The only thing i see that i think is bad about this concentration system. Is that it incentivises alt armies to use materials the cheapest. If anyone wants to degen enough (people will) it will mean people will get pushed out much quicker then before. As they can make stuff cheaper by rotating toons and concentration.
Im not sure how this could be fixed if at all.
Possibly have an account wide concentration per profession? But that just seems stupid and will most likely cause other major issues i cant think of.
You sound really good at even 1.75 speed, that's rare 😂
Is the number of concentration crafts you can do, the same across professions? The absolute value/profit per craft is obviously different for e.g. a potion vs a ring.
its wod expansion again.
timegated crafting so you must have lots of alts with same production professions.
i hope professions knowledge points will be easier to get cause we'll need more time to upgrade professions on multiple alts
yeah, garrisons were tedious to set up at WOD with lvl 3 tavern, inscription, and some stables then go hunting animals for fur and blood then return to the mine and the garden to pick up herbs and ore, then back to tavern to check for bis companions. Then to the mission table to send off new soldiers....oh god, it was a grind
Great explanation/video. I still think like we might just spam ALTs and abuse their concentration to some extent.
At least with so many daily CD and concentration I will have an alt army crafting stuff
and congrats with your 20k mark!
I’m a small time profession guy - the cancel scanners are going to have an alt army to defeat this but it makes their life a little more miserable and in my mind anything that makes life harder for the cancel scanners is something I support.
Very nice video, thank you!
An interesting take after which... I plan first to use all concentration with cheaper reagents and then craft as usual with R3 mats being a fully specced pro xD
You didn't show the max rank crafted item (gloves, etc.) with the Missive, Embellish(?), Crest, etc. Do the optional reagents still increase crafting difficulty and if so, does it increase the difficulty past the point of a guaranteed craft, even with maximum skill and R3 materials?
I have not played beta yet, but Concentration seems to be the new Illustrious Insight, and may need to be used on crafting gear, especially during the first few weeks when people are crafting their most difficult items. I was able to charge pretty high premiums for Illustrious Insight during all of Dragonflight, way more than I could get using Insight to craft reagents. As the patch goes on, less people need the difficult crafts, and so Insight/Concentration could be used on reagents.
Once again, assuming things like q3 missives, it only adds 15-20 skill to fully max out a craft. Should still be in reach to guarantee.
Account-wide concentration per profession seems like a way to counteract alt-spam behavior.
13:37 length. Enough said.
God I need more Diet Mt Dew I’ve lost concentration lol. Good insight. Let’s make money fellow goblins. Alchemy inc.
11:10 Hello *Wave*
I said only 50. Them be rookie numbers
TLDR: Concentration is a new *guaranteed* Inspiration proc, which has cap per day.
Yaay! Free gold! Gimme! xD
Blizzard has created a race to the bottom. The degeneracy that will ensue is going to be glorious. Best bet for the "casual" player is to go gather. No fuss no bother just good old trading time for gold. Or or... open thier wallets and voila.
having to logout to many alt is boring and annoying af i prefered the old inspiration system. loading screen gameplay? idk
Calling crap healthy doesn’t make it healthy… the profession system is overly complicated and too time capped and still has unnecessary RNG, especially in gathering… it’s all designed, not for fun, but to keep the general population from earning gold due to time constraints and complexity, just to turning WoW into a play to play game thru WoW tokens… beating me over the head every other day (concentration) doesn’t stop the beatings…
true ,
but i like playing wow as a management game .
for example i like being greedy doing wq with gold reward on multiple alts.
you get so many easy gold with wq and i love lvling alts.
i have more fun doing that than endgame content.
that's what i like in wow you can play this game in so many ways
@@jorgiotoldo8636 bwahaha!
@@jorgiotoldo8636 yes but now the other massive player base that needs to buy consumables are left with wow tokens… the gold you mention don’t come close to covering two raid nights in the same time it took prior to the new system
@jorgiotoldo8636 yeah, I don't even have a main, I have many characters that I gear up without m+ or raids, and enjoy playing the AH. I don't expect that I should be rewarded with m+ and raid gear without spending the time doing them.
