Is this MIP model lacking hourly time signal and a decent 1/100 stopwatch? If so, why is this, Casio? How can this be marketed as a sport watch for runners w/o a decent stopwatch? Why dropping these?
Are these functions have already been corrected in comparison to the previous MIP-LCD screen modules? 1) lacking hourly time signal 2) a decent 1/100 stopwatch 3) quicker exit from stopwatch/ training session? In GBX-100/GBD-200 it lasts 10-12 sec... almost eternity if you press the button by coincidence
I noticed this as well. I have the GBX-100 with MIP display and it does not look like that from any angle. It’s strange to see this and from a marketing perspective it’s odd they would use this for their marketing as it looks really bad.

@@tydshiin5783 You are somewhat correct. The basic time telling functions do not require USB charging. According to the product page it can be fully charged in 3 hours (USB). And it can be used continuously for about a week on a full charge (when used for about 1 hour a day).
Is not what you think. It isnt a negative display but a MIP display. Very very easy to read even on the brightess day. The video portion did not do justice. Likely because of the video lighting effects.
The japanese are terrible at marketing i swear this was the most BORING reveal ever .. THEY make AMAZING products but are terrible at selling them themselves
We want a 5610 with MIP and Tough Solar. Nothing more. No HR, no Polar, no 300$.

The MIP display is not capable of displaying 1/100th of a second.
