I wanna know if he got a knox hill certified Hoodie. That would be awesome. It's not far fetched, for starters. You break it down to where people can understand. You even go as far as to say "this could mean this, or possibly even this" kinda scary though cause like... u gotta be in some sort of pain to really understand what an artist is saying. That.. And all it takes is for one person, to know that person, to talk about you. It's all on the impression you leave on people. Curious, do you break down movies, TV shows, or maybe even books? Foot for thought.

There are a ton of channels that break down the bars and some will catch things that you miss, but you don't just do a bar breakdown. No, you dissect the entire song. Bars, influences, references, rhyme schemes, etc. Not just with rap songs, but with everything you react to including rock/metal. You're on another level, sir.
That's exactly it. I appreciate all the channels that focus on a 1 or 2 aspects of the music, because you still learn something from that breakdown. But Knox does it all, and delivers at a high level every time. To be honest, I sometimes don't care what song Knox is reacting to - I'm more into learning about what he sees in the music.
@Kevin Wong I remember when Ronnie Radke reacted to Knox's breakdown of popular monster and he said he got goosebumps because Knox kinda got into his head. I'd be willing to bet any other artist that watches his breakdown of their song feels the same. It's almost spooky how he can pull apart a song to show us all the parts we never knew were there.

when Em said there are people out there who likes hip hop because it sounds good but doesnt really understand what theyre doing, I'm one of them. I rely to to this channel a lot for understanding the verses and it just gaves me a whole another level of appreciation for the song

There is, quite literally, no one else on youtube who breaks things down the way he described. This is the one-stop shop for lyric breakdowns. I would say Stevie catches a lot as well, but Knox a true pokemon master, he catches em all.

Scriptwork does their "symmetry move" called "FIGHT back"! basically, they make it look like they just kicked the screen and then fake cracked screen edit afterward and then they go "BARS!!!!" or something along these lines.

EM has certainly seen your videos. His appreciation for your work is shown. It helps us listeners who cant catch everything understand in debt what the Goat is saying. It makes me enjoy his songs much more thanks to your breakdown. So many people downplay Em’s pen stating he aint saying much but he clearly states he does it because it’s fun. Not every rap song has a meaning. I appreciate his art. Heck sometimes I ask how he comes up with his flows, punch lines and rhyme schemes. The way he bends words is insane.

Who else could it be? Nobody has the same consistent depth and breadth and historical grounding in their analyses like you do. This is legit literary criticism, with hip hop lyrics being the literature in question.
Let me tell you - I'm a 50 year old white grandmother who grew up on bluegrass in the rural deep South. By the time Eminem was hitting the airwaves, I was a single mother working my way through college with zero time for what sounded and looked to me like some of the most immature testosterone-drenched stuff I'd ever heard. I gave it no chances.
I don't even remember now how I ended up at your channel, but it was definitely not because I was looking for reactions to Em's music. But I watched one of your videos and then went down the rabbit hole, not because I was especially interested in learning more about hip hop at first, but because your knowledge and passion about your area of expertise is simply that compelling. I mean, I'm a literature geek - I worked my way through college and then grad school and spent years in academia teaching college English. So when I say you're a compelling teacher, I'm saying that as a former English professor, not just blowing sunshine :)
You taught me how to listen to and appreciate hip hop, and so you gave me the context to be able to understand and appreciate Eminem as an artist. My playlists will never look the same again:) And as part of this education, I've listened to a lot of different music and I've watched a lot of videos by a lot of other people. And I do watch other channels for other reasons now. But nobody else is teaching hip hop like you are that I've seen.
And as somebody who clawed her way into higher education the long, slow way from unpromising beginnings, I get something of what is involved in being self-taught and what it takes to develop such specialized skills. It takes a lot. And there usually aren't any fellowships or scholarships. So i admire the hell out of Eminem for his journey as much as anything else, and i admire the hell out of you for yours. It's so cool to see you getting some recognition for all your hard work.

I have to say, I was never really a rap fan. Growing up in rural TX, riding horses I was just never exposed to it and never understood the appeal when I was introduced to it. Your breakdowns make me appreciate the work and genuis that goes into some of these songs and become a fan of some of these artists! Much love from TX!

There is little doubt that THE GOAT has seen you or he has at least been told about what you do & how you do it. You are an originator. Knowing and recognizing the schemes and syllables is just one part of your skill, being able to explain & give an MC's perspective is a talent that not many can match. You have built a following doing that and have used your expertise to help viewers/listeneners (like myself) grasp a better, much deeper side of rap. I find myself listening to music with "new" ears. Of all the reactors I watch, you go more in-depth and give legitimate info that is helpful not to just understand the song and artist but the thought they generally put behind their lyrics. Understand why an artist does a certain cadence or structure makes the song feel like more. Please keep being you mah dude and doing what you do. You are a treasure on this platform that I can't wait for more people to find. As an artist your library style and flow are something we can just sit back and vibe too. One of the things I enjoy most about your breakdowns is that you explain damn near everything. I didn't get into hip hop until I was well into my 20s so having you fill in some references is extremely helpful.
There are so many channels who will listen to music and then maybe point out one or two things about it. You break down the music and discuss every aspect about it and sometimes you’ll surprise us with something we never caught from it. I’ve wondered before if you’ve listened to the music beforehand or did research beforehand, because of how much knowledge you’ve shown, but even if you have, that’s still a level of effort I rarely ever see on reaction channels and that’s what I respect about you. You deserve a lot more recognition than you get. 👍

I got away from rap/hip-hop for a long time because of the majority of what got played on the radio and whatnot(yeah, I'm showing my age a little bit) not being interesting to me because it lacked substance, but you are the reason I found more appreciation for it over the last year or two. Found you because of an ERB reaction, still rewatch all 3 Hamilton breakdowns regularly and have nothing but respect for you man. I'm one of those people that Em is probably referring to - I love lyricism and appreciate the incredible skill that goes into it, but I miss all kinds of bars and it takes a lot of listens or watching one of your breakdowns to truly understand all the crazy things that are happening in an Em song, a Crooked song, etc. Even more than just the bars and the schemes what I get out of your videos is so much interesting information about the production, the beat, the way someone changes their voice or the different pockets and the ways that masters like Em/Crooked/Royce do things that most rappers just can't. Those all the kinds of things that I would never know or get on my own but listening to you explain it is just so fascinating and gives me a whole new level of appreciation for what they are doing. So thank you for all the blood, sweat, and tears that you put into this because it is absolutely phenomenal for me and something I didn't even realize or understand until I discovered your channel.

I think it’s a pretty safe bet that he’s seen your reaction videos of his music before. He’s talked about reaction channels in his music before. I mean Ems just a normal dude at the end of the day trying to see how people view his music.
