Dude. How do you know these references to EVERYTHING. It's honestly incredibly impressive.
Thank you man. Appreciate the support 🙏
IKR? I learned a lot of references from his review alone than me listening to this song a thousand times like for the past 3-4 years
he llistens multiple times and meticulously pieces it together, which to me is more impressive because not only does it show that he takes the time to give the viewers info on the song they might not get elsewhere, he shows a true appreciation to the craft and the viewers by taking the time to make you feel like you're sharing this with him instead of the other way around. a smart rapper who can play the crowd but earned the right to. well played knox. would love to write with him.
Big facts!
I’m always wondering that too
Fun Fact: Em gave his verse to Tech for free, out of respect for him as an artist!
Em does seem like a cool guy and to be fair he has more money than himself and Halie jade will ever spend
Wow
@@BacchatusJade wasn't it that tech had lent a verse to a shady records song? And then Em "returned the favor"?
Fun fact: Eminem does all of his features for free. As does Tech N9ne
@@schuylerschmidt8107 truth. He's so passionate about music he does it for nothing more than the favor returned in the future. (He gets royalties) He won't do one for anyone he doesn't respect or someone he doesn't think is in it for the right reasons. They have to have something in them that benefits hip hop. He's basically cosigning them once he puts them on his albums so he has to be picky. It's his way of giving back to the culture that accepted him and gave him a home and purpose. He doesn't need the money really, he makes between 1 and 5 million per show doing concerts.
I'm fully convinced that Eminem doesn't even care about if something rhymes when he writes because he knows full well how to bend words to his will when he speaks.
To quote King Crooked on Tech N9ne's Sickology 101: "The English language gotta do whatever my verse say"
@@notchrisrivero Exceedingly good track, my friend. You have great tastes.
true shit hahaa
"I can make orange rhyme with banana: Booor-nana. Eating pork rinds, sword fightin' in pajamas." - Tone Deaf. This man is a genius time and time again.
He can have a conversation and still be able to somehow rhyme lol
This dude isn't your average "reactor". This cat knows his shit. And on top of that, he can spit too. You're killing it, Knox.
I just watched his live stream of Stevie Wonder and Wonder Woman Epic Rap Battle, where he was spitting crazy good freestyles while reading the live chat too. The shit was impressive as hell. And he was sick while doing it, so he said he was struggling. It was better than so many other pro rapper freestyles I've seen.
FACTS
He's a godamn rapper afterall.
“Cat” and “spit” in the same comment? CRINGE!
It's really interesting how quickly ears adjust to the speedy rapping. When I first started listening to rap, I was completely baffled, but now it's like "Oh, yeah - cool alliteration he's doing there" 😅
Same lol
I find it easer to listen to fast rap then slow like this song I had no issues trying to figure out what they said it was easy
Good call. I found the same to be true with Slipknot, etc. Like anything new it took a bit to adjust, recalibrate. Like learning a new swimming stroke. ㄟ( ▔, ▔ )ㄏ
yeah
And the more you listen to it you can hear the differences between dudes who mumble rap, which alot of speed rappers do, and dudes really slick wit it, and dudes like em and tech who are so good and technical with flows, wordplay and certain cadences, its done right and sounds better.
Nobody:
Knox clicks the non-lyric video

Yes my friend yes he did🤣
*steps back* “right 😃”
"It doesn't even matter what the beats doing right now (eminem) makes his own beat"
LMAO pretty much the definition of eminems flows hey?!
Knox before listening: ok this will be a challenge 😓
Knox during the first two verses: ok I can do this 😅
Knox when Eminem's verse starts: 😳
Lmaooo facts
What's crazy is that Eminem could do something even more insane than this. This was only 10% of what he can do.
@@TonyKimtheamusementparkfan 10 percent is wrong, he do this out of respect, so he is doing his 💯 just because n9ne is on the track
😂😂😂😂 but Knox did it.
@@kharusbell4025 Lol you don't know eminem's potential then.
Yes, bits of this verse are the fastest Eminem has ever gone, around 11.4 SPS. Second to this is Godzilla with 11 SPS then Majesty, Rap God and Offended in the 10 SPS range.
Knew it! Haha help me find the comment where someone said Godzilla was faster so we can prove him wrong 😜
No, actually For comparison: Rap God he went 11 syllables per second. In Speedom, he went 12.5 syllables per second. And in Godzilla he did 10.65 syllables per second
Thing is he did it in short bursts, in Godzilla he did it for 30 seconds. but here he is faster overall in couple of spots.
Bloating was my first expression
@@brunolucas6038, he does like 11.3sps in Godzilla...
12:27 you can see your eyes perfectly follow the rhyme pattern even when its switching, i believe this is your first listen as well so its impressive to see how fluidly you take in the song even at this pace.
The sigh of relief at the end lol
Lol. Felt like I went to the brain gym on this one 🤯🤣
Breakdown The Ringer-Eminem
yesss do this one
Omg thats such an evil request hahahaha
@@johnowen9658 it has to be done
Hey I've seen you before
I’m behind this 100 percent
Also the fact that Em transitions so flawlessly between rhyme schemes is amazing to me.
This song is legendary. 3 fellow Midwesterners Tech, Krizz, and Em are monsters. They're all-time greats. Tech is the greatest of all time to me. I love each verse, the hook, and the beat. All 3 people are versatile. Em had hidden bars in his verse. The whole celery stalk and broccoli stalk references are crazy. The vegetables scheme is off the chain. He said ....beats(beets) are edible looseleaf a vegetable,...... stalk my prey". I don't know if he intended for the bars to mean that. But Em's bars have multilayeredness in them.
Jesus....that’s one badass breakdown. Dude, mad respect to you and your talent. No cap, you’re fucking awesome.
Ayy was not an easy one for sure! Thanks for rocking with me man 🙌
No problem, Homie. You’re one of the best I’ve seen so far.

I had an English test today and your breakdowns actually helped me alot because I had to break down a poem and I had the mindset that you have when you break these down and it helped me so much
I realized something, and I need to share with the world. Eminem had this particular skill that he utilizes when he raps fast: We all know he can ride the beat with the best of them, but there are times when he purposely (I believe) goes off beat when he rhymes just to make you feel a little uneasy with the dissonance, and when the beat drops he gets perfectly on beat and it almost feels like a physical relief which makes you appreciate it even more. Almost like you were holding your breath and finally allowing yourself to breathe.
You should do Brainless by Em. He rhymes orange and it’s fucking insane
Haha now that I can get behind
@@KnoxHill I promise it’ll help you have a different approach to the way you write
It's actually Business from Eminem Show. I think autocorrect got you on that one. He rhymes it with syringes by "bending" the pronunciations. It's a technique he uses that's actually gotten him praise from linguists and people who study english etc. Because he can bend their pronunciation while not fully mispronouncing the word or changing it completely.
@@xiphos8219 brainless he does the same thing too. It’s a song from MMLP2
Didn't he do that on brain damage as well?

@@Ridonculus69 I have, they're dope too, but these three that I named explain bars better than everybody imo
bro dont call it reaction, call it analysis
you straight up taking apart every single verse (which i dont mind since i just started rapping myself so im interested in that shit)
Facts
I saw in a comment on another reaction channel that part of Em's verse is even more insane than just speeding up. Apparently Em raps with a polyrhythm meaning for every X beats the music is playing at he is hitting a different, none divisible, number of beats. That off kilter causes his beat to separate from the songs and then slowly get closer and closer until they arrive at the end of the cycle. That creep up on the beat makes it sound like he's getting faster. This isn't to take away from Em's skill here, apparently this is even harder than just getting fast cause our brains can't maintain 2 beats at once. Here is a video of a drummer explaining polyrhythms.

By far the absolute best at bar breakdowns. Knox you are the Eminem of bar breakdowns.
I agreeeeeeee
Thethirdernest is amazing as well
Stevie Knight too... ❤
along with ubashedly reggie.. he puts up the rhyme sheet up n highlights the syllables n breakdowns choice of flow n bars.. very underrated channel
Knox Hill, TheThirdErnest & Stevie Knight for the break downs. And ofcourse No Life Shaq for the laughs lol
Knox! for not cheating by using the lyrics video you killed it! You picked up on almost everything! Mad respect man amazing job bro
If Eminem is on god level mode then this guy is on X game mode !
Catching up to that Eminem speed is so difficult but this guy was able to catch up most of the times !
Their aren’t many people who can keep up with Eminem !!
But he can ! He is one of those rare people !!
What’s more impressive, Eminem’s clever lines or the fact that you can understand and break them all down
2.5 seconds in *Knox has to walk away from the mic 🤣 also gotta shout out Tech for being probably the best rapper when it comes to alliteration. Idk anyone else who can touch him there. Just counted on his last verse he uses 21 words that start with F lmao. Putting on an alliteration clinic! 🔥🔥🔥
Why you don't have millions of subscribers already is beyond me, bro. You are the best when breaking these songs down. Not to mention your own rap songs are great.
Found this yesterday. Speedom is one song I go back to over and over, and I love seeing people react to it the first time. I've seen half a dozen reactions at least. I've heard the song 20+ times.
You broke down bars and shared insight and meaning that I never caught. You didn't simply react to the speed and flow. You took on the entire beast of the song. Definitely subbed. Highly impressed and looking forward to more. Damn good job.
It’s funny, I used to wonder why my brother in law would watch reaction vids.
“why you watching someone else listen to a song?”
But then I seen him watching one of your videos and I seen how you break it down and explain everything. I caught myself going, “WTF I totally missed that when I listen to it. Oh shit I didn’t even know about thag artist”. And bunch more.
Now I’m love your vids! Not only do you break down the bars, entendres, the history of an artist and where they’re coming from in their song, the song AND you break down the beats, times, and measures. All the songs you have done from MTBM+SIDE B are great man!
Now I’m looking for old songs for older albums to see if there is stuff I missed in them.
I’m not even really a Hip-Hop/Rap guy. I’m a hardcore/metal/ extremely heavy and dark stuff.
That’s why I love Eminem. He throws in that dark and craziness to his songs (kim, kill you, just don’t give a fuck, still don’t give a fuck, criminal...ect)
But I would LOVE to hear you break down Eminem’s Infinite album!
I know he talks about Brenda in his song called 'Stay Wide Awake' which you should really react to, that song also has an amazing rhyme scheme
true, the rhyme scheme was insane
He could also be making a reference to Tupac’s “Brenda’s got a baby”
Me: *Reads the title*
Also Me: Is Knox a masochist or something?
Finally a reactor that knows his stuff. You got a great ear too. It took me a multitude of listens to catch everything, and you seem to catch it right away. Respect.
13:51 , " but i thought tec was fast ..fuck " , pure gold man , awesome reactions as always man !!
Definitely going to have to add that intro song to my playlist 🔥
Eminem is a fast lyrical genius ever and no one can change that but also big shout out to the other two goats tech n krizz🔥🔥🔥
The reference to Brenda is to the song from “Tupac” Brenda’s got a baby. Antenna=back alley shit
I felt sorry for you Knox, but that was an amazing reaction show. They were all brilliant. They all killed it.
I know Tech Nine is good but Eminem is just crazy man he has some crazy word play to me Eminem is the best of all time.
how did you even catch all the bars n references let alone hearing words that I didn't know were even said?
btw u should react to kim and bonnie and clyde by eminem I know its heavy n maybe his most controversial songs made
Lol it wasn’t easy. Had to sit down for a while after this one my brain got fried 🤦♂️🤣 I definitely missed a few things but did my best 🙌
Kim's a bit you know phsyco
@@teddyfield2164 lol yeah thts why I said controversial
Bonnie n clyde which is the prequel is even more disturbing just not as loud n crazy

Dude... all the years this song has been out and how many reactions I have watched... this is 100% the best breakdown I have heard yet. Major props dude.
I felt it when you said .. Just enjoy it I'm done.... Love your work.. ❤
Haha thanks for supporting man 🙌
Aaaay speedom. Love this song. Just started the reaction but if this hurts your brain wait till you get to “All I Think About” by Bad Meets Evil
Your breakdown is so sick! Educational! You can see you have a love and passion for it. Glad I found your channel!
You r so great at explaining and breaking-down the music and lyrics to songs. Your so well educated on so many subjects. And I love how calm you and and not yelling all the time and acting stupid like most of these reactors out here. Keep up the good work man 👍🏻👏🏻❤️
I definitely recommend Spaz by Krizz Kaliko. Honestly, the whole Kickin and Screamin album is absolute FIRE!
Godzilla is actually the fastest we have by Eminem^^.
I dont remember exactly but i think Speedom was 10.1 Syllables?
Rapgod was around 10.5 Syllables ?
and as far as i remember Godzilla is 11.2Syllables
Oh and btw Godzilla when the speed starts they say actually that Eminem topped his own speed within the record he broke on the song.
The fast part in Godzilla starts with 11.2 and around middle he gets up to 11.5Syllables.
So correction: 11.5Syllables is the Highest by Eminem.
You also missed offended my dude. Offended was faster than rapgod just barely then godzilla
No the tempo in Godzilla is a constant 11 sps. You can't just speed up without changing the structure of your flow or the tempo of the beat and as you can hear in Godzilla neither of those changed.
I thought Rap God was around 9.6 sps (or something like that) honestly
Just makes me think if his lines off Lucky You
"You could never say to me I'm not a fuckin' record breaker
I sound like a broken record every time I break a record"
I believe it goes Rap God, Speedom, Majesty then Godzilla, but I could be wrong. Either way he's a fucking alien man 🔥👽
really likin' these reaction videos. it's not just about breaking down lyrics, there's the appreciation in every line too
The multisyllablic rhyming is marvelous.

I knew this was gonna be some of those. But these be the best videos, love the vids man, you give me a huge insight into the breakdowns and it's captivating for me. At least as a writer, the technicalities going into these songs/lyrics is more than people give it credit.
And your knowledge throughout this is refreshing compared to other breakdowns. They are great too, but you take the cake for lyric breakdowns..
I wanted to be a rapper as well back in my teenage age, but I just dont have that persona lol. Keep at it man you will be huge soon enough!
Hey Knox! Im loving your breakdowns and am starting to listen to your music and loving that too! I love how much you really love music and what you do! It shows!
I have so much respect for the respect you show to artist and rhythms. A Mind like yours are rare. Thank you for all your work. Keep it up! 👍🏻
can you do a " throwback " series were you go back to early em and other rappers and analyze there songs ?
I've just become a big fan of you bro ever since I came across your reactions to Eminem & the way you break them down is absolutely amazing!!! Plus, your music is fantastic as well, I get the Eminem feeling to be honest! Keep on making superb music & reactions G and also, please do react to songs in Eminem's Kamikaze album like: 1) The Ringer 2) Greatest 3) Fall.
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS MANN. I am quite new to your channel but i am bamboozled by the fact that u catch all the bars soo perfectly like damn this shows you have some real skills. Keep doing what you are doing Knox, you are honestly killing it in your songs too❤
Just heard this song for the first time today, and had to see if you did a reaction!! Your reactions are so great!!
Tech 9 any song on his KOD ALBUM BEST HE EVER DID BUT HIS BEST SONG YOU SHOULD REACT TO TECH 9 SONG CALLED THIS RING LIVE VERSION 😎🚬🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That video n song is so lit
22:55 I don't see anyone point this out but when he says "I stalk my prey" and you hear the brake sound, it makes you think he says "I stomp my breaks" and then he slows down. The next line "you think you got away" could make you think that he was going so fast he had to slow down to "stalk his prey".
Hey Mr. Hill i just wanted to take a few min to thank you and tell you you have quickly became one of my top 10 artists in my playlists. So keep up the hard work. You have come a long wsy from the first verse ive heard from you to what you have spit lately. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to your craft.
I've been binge-watching you for days, man, your knowledge about rap and the different things rappers rap about is astonishing. I'm not a huge rap fan but a major reason I listen to some rap is the wordplay, the double, triple (so on) entendres.
Keep doing your thing 😁
Is ur name abt youngboy cause thas alil weird to say u like triple entendres if you like yb
Whenever I hear this song I think about the interview where Tech said a lot of people said they wanted to hear him on a track with Eminem to see "who would win", Tech replied "I want to hear how I sound with who I think is the best rapper out there". Tech is so humble.
Brenda.. my mind immidiately went to
"I see my target with my car and park it and approach a tender
Young girl by the name of Brenda and I pretend to befriend her"
I continue to watch this reaction almost 2 years later because you are by far the best reaction channel on UA-cam.
Had to add a second comment after watching this... crazy to see a rapper as talented and versatile as yourself struggling to keep up with this.. I have been a huge tech fan for years and it takes listening to his tracks multiple times with lyrics to even begin comprehending what he is spitting.. keep it up knox!! Love the channel!
