The PGA TOUR continues on the West Coast this week for the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines Golf Club. For the third-straight year, this event will be played from Wednesday through Saturday. Max Homa returns this week to defend his title. Alongside winning the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa in November, Homa has not finished worse than T21 since missing the cut at the Travelers Championship last June. Xander Schauffele will also be in California this week. He’s making his ninth start in San Diego where his best finish was T2, five shots off the winner in 2021. The American claimed T10 at The Sentry and T3 last week at The American Express to start the new season. Australian Min Woo Lee will also be in California this week after closing out 2023 winning twice in his last five events worldwide, including victories in Macau and Australia. He’ll be looking to improve on the T21 he managed last week at The American Express. Others to look out for are Collin Morikawa, Patrick Cantlay and Sungjae Im.

Liked this video mainly because the PGA Tour have finally learned it’s called an Albatross and not a double eagle. Well done, it’s only been around for 250 years. 👍🏼
"Half eagle" instead of birdie means more Eagles for all
golf fans really got the biggest stick up their arse
Anything but the metric system
Agree; I hate the term double eagle. It doesn't even make sense numbers-wise. It implies saving four strokes, not two. Albatros it is.
@@patrick5838 3 strokes mate not 2.
I love when competitors congratulate each other on incredible shots =)
you don't get that in many other sports!
That walk has got to feel good from that far out knowing the job is done on that one wow.
I just had one 6 weeks ago on my home course, 3 wood second shot 237 yards, been playing 40 years, awesome feeling. Odds of a hole in 12500/1, odds of an albatross 6,000,000 to 1, so yeah pretty rare!!
Love this guy! He has a great attitude too....Go Shane! "That will get ya healthy in a hurry.lol
What a beautiful shot...perfect.
nice shot that was amzing!
What an Albert. Awesome.
Boy, the cup grabbed that! It nearly didn't 🎉
From 256 is absolutely insane I saw an albatross in person one time from like 200 out
Super classic 😊
Where was Cantlay?
Looking for his hat
No better dude to see this happen to
Mike Lowry
No matter how good you are, luck is involved. Still a great shot, fun to watch.
"The harder I work, the luckier I get." - Gary Player.
Cantlay didn't congratulate him? Wonder if there is still some bad blood post Ryder Cup between Joe LaCava and Lowry.

Nice to see something go right for Shane. A smaller team and
more Guinness would be my advice.
Too bad Ian wasn’t in the group. He would have pulled his hand away from the high 5 again…
😮👉 💯
Hes a major chump
