A Great man R.I.P, a sensitive and strong soul who fought for nature and the indigenous peoples. Thank you for coming to the north of ireland and marching shoulder to shoulder with Gerry Adams for the civil rights movement of the irish who were being persecuted a killed by the blood soaked "civilised" english empire. We dont want them anymore, ireland is our land. Floyd Red Crow we love you from Ireland xxxx

In 1849 Indian Affairs was transferred to the Department of the Interior. The bureau was renamed as Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) in 1947 (from the original Office of Indian Affairs).

I would gladly abandon my life now to live in harmony with nature. I am ashamed of what some of my ancestors have done, the genocide they tried to complete. We should have learned from The Natives of America. There was so much wisdom lost when white men conquered and exterminated so many, so needlessly. I am thankful that at least some of the first nation people and tribes have survived and remembered the old way, because soon the world will look to them for guidance. They are the true people.

I would like to see Native American President. Why we don't have Native American running for Presidency? Black man got elected, all race in U.S. we will Vote for Native American if you want to rule this land. Native Americans must wake up & start ruling this land by education, not dreaming. Raise Native American children for Congress & Presidency dream. Its the only way my good brother. Only way, there is no other way out. Let us all Vote out Corrupt-government rulers. Let Native Americans rule.

Hatice Kursat .... So would all the other Native American's brother n Sister's but I doubt that not in this Life time or anyother.... That's when the White man will know they will lose everything nd they don't want that. .

Hatice Kursat becoming president wouldn’t fix the problems we face it’d help but, not fix there’s so many different branches that probably most the stuff you’d push more would be stopped.

The current Bureau of Indian Affairs was formed on March 11, 1824, by Secretary of War John C. Calhoun, who created the agency as a division within his department,

I remember in 1972, members of AIM stopped at our house in Nashville Tennessee. They were on their way to DC.
They left us a copy of Red Crowe's first album "Custer Died for Your Sins". The lyrics were different than this album... specifically the lyrics to "Red, White and Balck" were not as "PC" as they are on this combo alum. DOes anyone know if that recording is still available? Several other songs on the original album have been "cleaned up" a bit. Would love to find the original!

Did you know I also pray for your honorable people to rule this land, again. All it takes is one prayer. Allah the Almighty-Creator of mankind says: Pray brother, pray. There is no prayers are returned back empty. Allah says:If mankind don't kneel on their knees & pray for me, how will I, answer your prayers & your freedom. Spread what I said to you. Pray to our Almighty Creator for freedom. Insallah, this land will be again under honorable Native American clean laws. I believe in my deep heart.

Shocking that people born and raised in North American U.S.A. would not know this Important 'factoid,' the main branch of U.S. government dealing with us is the Bureau of "Indian" affairs, not the bureau of "Native American" affairs,so please dont try to be allP.C. and correct me when i refer to us as Indians when discussing your Governments poicies toward us.
