Two more boards after the banana is when act 3 comes in. So... pear, banana, 2nd banana (but with random fruit) and 3rd banana (also with random fruit). Four total boards on the red maze, then act 3 starts.
For 30+ years, I never realized that was a movie clapper board that began each scene. I knew what the clapper board was, I just never associated it with the game, I thought it was a box opening or something. See the LOUDMOUTHTIM youtube channel! :)
