When you talked about the induction stove, you said you need to use special pots and pans. If you take a magnet, and stick it onto the bottom of the pan, and it sticks there, it will work on the stove. Also, when you are cooking something, that is messy, like spaghetti sauce, you can place a paper towel under the pot, and it will not burn, the paper towel. I just love my induction cooktop.
Cool mini split! I agree with you that the cord might not be long enough for some applications. I hope they soon realize that and make a longer one available if needed.
@@Kairos-001 yup, and yet almost zero RV AC units have them, and of those that do most are only good down into the 40s or maybe 34F. There's only a few that are good down to 20F. By comparison there are quite a few residential mini-splits good to 0F or even as low as -20F.
We are planning a total upgrade on our 2016 Cedar Creek 38ck, the stove is a awesome upgrade even though we have induction microwave with airfryer already installed. Also have been considering the on demand water heater. It will definitely be in the upgrade.
I've always liked your stuff. Did you work out of Butte MT at one point? That's where I first saw your stuff assuming it was you (you have a unique voice) and you effectively sold me by your video on my first hard side travel trailer...
If Fogatti is reading these comments, I’d love to try out there mini split on my off-road camper trailer. I recently wasted almost $1000 on the EcoFlow wave to DC AC system only to have a failure of the drain system where it leaks all over my trailer and it was also not sold with the DC power cord which they wanted an additional sum for. I’d be very interested in trying, I also might be interested in seeing if I couldn’t inducted up to the rooftop tent on top of my little trailer.
6,500 BTU in case anyone is wondering, it isn't a heat pump at all so it only does cooling. I can't see this being any more practical than a standard window AC, and they're asking much more for this unit. Make it a heat pump with an inverter compressor and it will be much more interesting
We do not have central heat & air in our house. We use portable air conditioners. Would the mini split be useable in a bedroom or den? We need to take it out during the winter. This could be great for cooling a small room. The permanent mini-splits are very expensive and have to be professionally installed. This portable unit would solve that problem.
Fogatti sitting on a gold mine and probably don't even know it, I live in a house and want 1, this is the change to sale millions of these, make the cable vertical on left ight to eat up less space so the window close more, maybe make it so you can put connector plugs on all 4 sides for flexibility. What was the cost?
Well then. We are building an HDT or should i say remodeling a 70 inch bunk to motor home comforts. We were going with a in room air conditioning system to cool on a 30 amp service until you showcased this. Of course cost plays a factor because theres a budget But if budget is limitless this .....well then...😊😊😊
What I want for my cannabis flowering room is a mini split that has two outside units, to chose where to put the heat. So in winter I can put the heat (from grow lights) into the garage instead of outside. CO2 enriched environment, so a fan to exchange air with garage is not a good option.
Ok, I have a question 🙋 Please excuse my ignorance as I’ve never RV’d before and I’m using your channel for research purposes. These products that you review on your channel seem pretty cool, but when will we see them in these RV’s that you review? Is it best to buy brand new, or buy a used model of some sort then just upgrade everything? Doing the latter you still have an older RV in my opinion. Which way is cheaper and which way is ultimately better in the long run?
@@texillini1 Whenever you're RV shopping, look for the fit and finish. A lot of RVs are cheaply made, so you could spend a lot of money on a rig only for it to fall apart.

@@Fogatti910 are the gas cook top/electric oven units direct replacements for the more common furion models?
I had one of those portable split units - 15 years ago in Germany. "Brand New in North America"
I always said if my ac went out when on a trip I would just pick up one of these type things. This is perfect 💙

I like to use a silpat, but watch your manufacturer warranty. Love my induction
Giovanni is smiling as you pitch his sales for the window unit. You did well
A really functionally innovative product line by Fogatti. I'm looking forward in particular to a mini split demo.
Cool mini split! I agree with you that the cord might not be long enough for some applications. I hope they soon realize that and make a longer one available if needed.
very cool, look forward to more info
This video told us next to nothing about the item in the title. 🙄
Why won't they be transparent about the wattage or EER? These are critical factors for off grid use. Also, will there be a heat pump version? Thanks
I put in a tankless water unit in the old trailer and absolutely love it. Endless shower when on full hookups.
Very interested in the stove with the air fryer! Please ask ETrailer to stock these, and loan you one for your evaluation.
Good update 👍
Looks like they are just rebranding a unit for the 6500 one.
Cheers
Put a reversing valve in it and I'll buy one as soon as it's listed if it's good down to 20F!
Simple solenoid with a valve inline!

This would be great for replacing a window ac for a home.
When are we going to see an off-grid air conditioner that is like the portable mini split in the video that will run with DC solar?
That 6500 mini split would be great to cool my truck 🛻 cab while we are shut down.
It would need a power source.

Induction microwave? Or convection microwave?
@daniellel256 convection. I worded it wrong
Pricing is extremely important to many of us.
would love to get your review/opinion on the new KZ Ridgeway 35BH!
I installed a Pioneer 9500 BTU on my Winnebago Ekko.
I would like a good quiet roof mount air conditioner the one I have now is so loud I can’t even watch tv without the volume at max level.

Amazon sells them for $650, It has only 2.5 stars

How are both units in that mini-split supported?
If the economics work replacing a rooftop ac with a maxx fan and one of these might be a better solution in a small trailer

You want a 12v A/C not 110v/120v
If you're going off grid you want something that can run off of your batteries.
