It's amazing how you can make us feel that "lazy hot summer afternoon" thing, cozy and nostalgic. I don't know how to describe it, but it's that Ghibli Feeling.
Each one of these vlogs are so heartwarming. The fact Marzia edits them and how you both record and it all looks so cozy and peaceful. I can't even begin to comprehend it, glad that we can watch these. Makes my day instantly each time, I already know I'll rewatch these vlogs time and time again just because of the happiness and peacefulness that surges from them and how beautiful japan is, and of course you four.
But this is not true. Now their interactions are all embodied in electronic facilities or landscapes, but there are no people. Living in Japan, you must contact many Japanese people, but we don't know the communication between Pewdeepe and the local Japanese.
I've never really understood or enjoyed travel vlogs from other people, but seeing Felix relax and seem much happier here is just balm for the soul. Honestly since his honeymoon vlog I've really enjoyed these slower paced videos, and I love seeing the genuine joy he gets to have being there
It's even more fun than the honeymoon vlogs because the dogs are with them. Honeymoon vlog was like the story of side characters because let's be honest, the main characters of this channel are obviously Edgar and Maya.
Damn, gotta say since I'm not seeing a lot of praise for the soundtracks and their maginificent timing, bravo to whoever edits these videos. It just makes it have that immersive ambiance.

Honestly, I don't watch Pewds a lot anymore like I used to years ago, but now, watching his videos it gives me the same feeling as it used to, a very brief, momentary feeling of peace of mind without any worries. He never missed to pick me up when I was down, and he still doesn't. And seeing Maya and Edgar still living, and living comfortably is just bliss.

The main reason I love these vlogs is that Felix captures parts of Japan that very very little to no other vloggers manage to capture. All the Japan vloggers I’ve seen get pretty much the same mainstream things but that sunset? With mt Fuji? With the sunset on the sand? And the shrine?? It’s just one small example but he manages to get a very unique essence of Japan in his videos and I love it
This is like watching an insight into pewd's retirement, we all love the content and want to see him still make videos for us (selfishly) but also you can tell he is finally making memories and content he wants to make and he can finally enjoy his time with marzia in a place that feels more like home. he's done enough for the internet and enough for us as viewers, many hours of enjoyment and at this point its just nice to check in every now and then and see the man who made my childhood and the sole reason for my love of gaming truly be happy and be where he wants to be. Its inspiring, may we all one day reach this level of peace and tranquillity

Yes. This actually sums it perfectly. Wholesome, something that unfortunately is in short supply in people and life nowadays. I am so in love with Felix’s content. I found him years ago and I enjoyed his content so much. But there comes a point when you just stop watching a youtuber. However, with Felix, he always seems to find me and his content grows and follows the change the happens around it. I lose interest and find other things but he always comes back with something fresh which lured me straight in into a rabbit hole of his content. He’s probably not overthinking it and he’s just making content that suits him but I think he really knows how to grow and adapt to his subscribers which I think is what makes him special and different from others. He couldn’t have picked a better job in this life time.
Another positve side thing to how great these happy Japan vlogs are: Reading about how happy it is making everyone else, and seeing others just being genuinely overjoyed for the success and peace Felix has come to. i've watched Felix for almost half of my life (i'm 20). from the amnesia, surgeon simulator days, to dark souls, to minecraft, to now, Felix's content never failed to give me comfort. I don't watch him a lot anymore since I have less time to do so, but I just keep coming back to his videos. I remember going through a heartbreak and watching his videos made me happy. There were times too that I am at a low and his content picks me up. I'm really happy to see him enjoy his life and not try his hardest to squeeze content anymore. He deserves this. Thank you felix.

I've been watching Felix pretty much since the beginning and seeing how much he's grown makes me so happy, makes me cry. I used to watch him play horror games when I was a kid, thinking he was the funniest guy ever. Now I look at him, happy as he could be. Sure he isn't the over the top guy I used to love, but he's still the same guy from halfway across the world making me smile every day. After all his hard work he's finally gotten the retirement he deserves. It makes me think about how far I've come. While he's living his dream, I've been just sitting idly, my middle school and highschool days passing by. I graduate next year and I'm absolutely terrified. I've never really thought about what I wanted to do, which sure a lot of people my age don't, but still. Seeing Felix like this makes me want to do things I've always wanted to do. I want to strive to do things I'm pretty sure are impossible, but I'll try my best. It's ten months till graduation. No more sleeping in past noon, no more moping around in my room all day. I'm going to write the book I've always wanted to, so that maybe one day I can inspire people, like Felix has me. Thank you for everything Felix, now I'm going to write a book so good, that maybe it could end up on your shelf one day.

I’ve been living in Japan for the last 20 years, and I just want to say that, Felix, you’re doing Japanese summer right! A lot of people complain about this heat and stay inside when it’s hot and humid like this. But you’re out taking it all in and enjoying it. Good on ya! 🍻 That said, don’t be ashamed to take it a bit easy when it gets REALLY hot. ‘Heat exhaustion’ is a real issue here during the summer. Also, make sure to take in a little extra salt. (Drinking enough water goes without saying…)

The main reason I love these vlogs is that Felix captures parts of Japan that very very little to no other vloggers manage to capture. All the Japan vloggers I’ve seen get pretty much the same mainstream things but that sunset? With mt Fuji? With the sunset on the sand? And the shrine?? It’s just one small example but he manages to get a very unique essence of Japan in his videos and I love it

This is like watching an insight into pewd's retirement, we all love the content and want to see him still make videos for us (selfishly) but also you can tell he is finally making memories and content he wants to make and he can finally enjoy his time with marzia in a place that feels more like home. he's done enough for the internet and enough for us as viewers, many hours of enjoyment and at this point its just nice to check in every now and then and see the man who made my childhood and the sole reason for my love of gaming truly be happy and be where he wants to be. I am so in love with Felix’s content. I found him years ago and I enjoyed his content so much. But there comes a point when you just stop watching a youtuber. However, with Felix, he always seems to find me and his content grows and follows the change the happens around it. I lose interest and find other things but he always comes back with something fresh which lured me straight in into a rabbit hole of his content. He’s probably not overthinking it and he’s just making content that suits him but I think he really knows how to grow and adapt to his subscribers which I think is what makes him special and different from others. He couldn’t have picked a better job in this life time.

i've watched Felix for almost half of my life (i'm 20). from the amnesia, surgeon simulator days, to dark souls, to minecraft, to now, Felix's content never failed to give me comfort. I don't watch him a lot anymore since I have less time to do so, but I just keep coming back to his videos. I remember going through a heartbreak and watching his videos made me happy. There were times too that I am at a low and his content picks me up. I'm really happy to see him enjoy his life and not try his hardest to squeeze content anymore. He deserves this. Thank you felix.

I've been watching Felix pretty much since the beginning and seeing how much he's grown makes me so happy, makes me cry. I used to watch him play horror games when I was a kid, thinking he was the funniest guy ever. Now I look at him, happy as he could be. Sure he isn't the over the top guy I used to love, but he's still the same guy from halfway across the world making me smile every day. After all his hard work he's finally gotten the retirement he deserves. It makes me think about how far I've come. While he's living his dream, I've been just sitting idly, my middle school and highschool days passing by. I graduate next year and I'm absolutely terrified. I've never really thought about what I wanted to do, which sure a lot of people my age don't, but still. Seeing Felix like this makes me want to do things I've always wanted to do. I want to strive to do things I'm pretty sure are impossible, but I'll try my best. It's ten months till graduation. No more sleeping in past noon, no more moping around in my room all day. I'm going to write the book I've always wanted to, so that maybe one day I can inspire people, like Felix has me. Thank you for everything Felix, now I'm going to write a book so good, that maybe it could end up on your shelf one day.

I’ve been living in Japan for the last 20 years, and I just want to say that, Felix, you’re doing Japanese summer right! A lot of people complain about this heat and stay inside when it’s hot and humid like this. But you’re out taking it all in and enjoying it. Good on ya! 🍻
That said, don’t be ashamed to take it a bit easy when it gets REALLY hot. ‘Heat exhaustion’ is a real issue here during the summer. Also, make sure to take in a little extra salt. (Drinking enough water goes without saying…)

@@DoctorEbot you never REALLY get used to it. Luckily we live in a rural area with quick access to the ocean and also rivers that are clean enough to swim in.
Is the water freezing cold? I share the same pacific ocean with Japan and on the west coast it’s freezing as fuck 😭😭

As for Japan, the Pacific side is actually decently warm, at least in August-September. Lots of surfers too, at least in the south of my prefecture. (Mie)
