What a beautiful tribute to all the people in the entertainment industry we've lost this past year....and how fitting it was to hear Doris Day's voice at the end.
Thank you for the 2019 TCM Remembers segment. I am surprised that people like the beautiful, sexy blonde Carol Lynley, Robert Walker, Jr., and a few others that I didn't hear about, had died this year. May they, and those who passed on that I already knew of, R.I.P. Thank you, all, for contributing to the world of cinema. You will never be forgotten.
As always TCM does a great job with their annual tribute, I always dread watching them, as their are always unpleasnt surprises in there of actors passing away without me knowing. This year those were Peter Mayhew and Bruno Ganz.
Surely it's gratifying for TCM to know how much film and entertainment fans truly appreciate the painstaking, loving care the channel takes with the annual TCM Remembers, while the Academy of Motion Pictures will only include about a third of these names to make room for unknown publicists and agents. Not to denigrate those behind the scenes people, but the marvelous job done here proves it can be done respectfully and beautifully moving.

All of them were amazing artists and professionals but I think specially to Luke Perry he was still young , R.I.P.
All Death can be tragic !
Steve Sanzari i disagree , if you take your own life because your own decision I don’t think is tragic like if you are an elderly person that live all the phase of your life I don’t think is tragic , it’s very different from a relatively young person that still have something to live for

Who took their own life? Luke Perry died of an ischemic stroke. 🤷🏻♀️
Jane Doe right I never said he took his own life ,I was talking about someone that commit suicide by their own choice
"Waiting" by Alice Boman

Thank You, I was wondering.
Thank you
As always TCM does a great job with their annual tribute, I always dread watching them, as their are always unpleasnt surprises in there of actors passing away without me knowing. This year those were Peter Mayhew and Bruno Ganz.
These always make me misty eyed. So many great memories.
So many actors I had no idea had passed away. 😢
This my absolute favorite channel, it educates through enjoyment. Besides all the fantastic movies and great hosts, there aren't any commercials; that's a home run in my book. 🌻
God bless you TCM you are truly respectful to those we have lost in entertainment, you never forget anyone. So much better than the oscars.
