Would love to know how you dealt with guests paying for things? Did all your guest pay for everything on their own, and you just booked the sunset cruise and wedding... etc?
Spot on points, Kitty. I planned my own wedding in Kauai from KY and found myself saying, 'yep and yes' a lot and thinking, 'I did that too'. So, I definitely think you've made a great resource for a more adventurous or do-it yourself bride :) Thanks for sharing!
I am really glad I stumbled across this video. I am from Minnesota and am planning a "destination" wedding within the US. Most of our family does not travel often, so we didn't want to inconvenience those who didn't have passports, etc. We are getting married in Florida in March, and I found a lot of these tips extremely helpful! Thanks!
I happened to stumble across your page because I am currently in the process of planning my destination wedding in Costa Rica (my fiancé is from there) and come to find out that I also live in MN! What a small world 😊 great video!
I've actually been really curious how a destination wedding gets planned. Not that I'm getting married any time soon. I've just always wondered. Lol Anyway, thanks for solving that mystery for me! 😜
Great video. Thanks for the tips definitely helping me for my wedding in July this year. One question though. Did your guests bring their wedding gifts to tamarindo? If so, how did you work out the extra stuff to bring back home?
What did it cost you for this wedding. I don't mean to be rude but I'm planning my wedding and would like to do something similar to what you did. Also, how far in advance do you invite your guests and at what point did you have to tell the venue how many attendees there would be.
What designer is your dress? Did you have to pack a ton for a lot of extra things you needed to bring? I.e. Table numbers etc. how much was your wedding overall? Did you ask family/friends if they would come to a destination wedding first? Thanks for the video I really want to have a destination wedding so this was very helpful
I know you must get this all the time, Kitty! But with your hair getting longer and longer I can't help but think you look exactly like a blonde zooey deschanel!! Cutest bangs!
It’s random that I found your video. I live in Minneapolis, just got engaged, we want to do a destination wedding with a direct flight. I’ll have to read your blog and watch all your videos now. Is the travel agent you used based in Minneapolis? I have no clue where to start!
What photographer did you use? What DJ did you hire? I’m currently planning my own wedding - also on Tamarindo, also expecting to contract the Diria .... would appreciate your help!!! Thankssss
Thanks for sharing, sounds like a really nice wedding (unfortunately the videos about your wedding day and your honeymoon is not available... maybe it's because I'm a viewer from Europe?)

The " bite size " planning style is SO key ! ~Amanda

How much did your guests have to pay to attend your wedding?

Did you use any planning websites?
When do people are RSVP?
what was the budget for your destination wedding did you achieve it?
First comment! Love your videos, Kitty! I wait for them all week long. :)
Are travel agents free for the traveler?
owlflurry no travel agents are not free, but often it's cheaper (and easier!!) to book a whole vacation via a travel agent.
Well, it depends. Most of the time they get paid commission on booking services for you so they don’t charge you for their time.
