2018 sport s JK weekend warrior, just added UD44 in front 4.88 gears and a locker in front 3.5" metal cloak Rock Sport lift with dual rate springs, had a full belly skid from metal cloak already, running 35 Toyo mud tires, looking at 37" and maybe bead locks, in the near future
I had Teraflex 3 inch on my jku and swapped out to metal cloak dual rate 3.5 inch..totally amazing. I always recommend nothing else to new jeeprz looking for a lift.
@@jdruso7 I remember the teraflex 3 inch was stiff but I didn't realize it until I changed out to metal cloak..then I realized it. Also I installed Steer Smarts Yeti tie rod assembly, yeti top mount drag link, Teraflex HD ball joints, which also made a difference for the better. Make sure your track bar and drag link are at the same angle.
late to the party but if you are not offroading at all but need a suspesnion upgrade for a 2014 jeep jk sahara looking at true dual rate 2.5 kit. Would you splurge and get the HD steering kit as well??
Que tal amigo, y que diferencia existe en el game changer de 3.5 vs el 4.5 ? Solo es la altura? O los db3 para brazos traseros de verdad dan mayor flex?
@@MountZionOffroad Do you think that 2.5 changes the feel and the gas mileage of the Jeep significantly? I really like the way it rides now and worried about messing it up.
@@MoranisToboggan It should typically drive better after a new suspension is installed, and your gas mileage will only be different if you put bigger tires on it! Suspension will not affect mpg
I’m not in that area, but have been looking for a game changer 3.5 setup. What would ballpark for labor of an install of that kit be around to expect ? Thanks for the great the great bid btw.

@@MountZionOffroad I’m out in Northern California. So that would be a pretty far drive. I was just trying to get a ballpark, because having just come out of cancer treatment, I don’t really have the strength to do it myself, but will need to have someone do it for me, and didn’t know what to expect around install costs for the 3.5” game changer lift on my JKUR. Thanks for the reply though. Maybe I’ll check around here closer to me.
just had the 3.5 in gamechanger installed yesterday. one word: WOW.
Love to hear that!!

Are these 35 inch tires?
yes!
Hey I have a 2012 JKU Rubicon on 32’ Nitto Ridge Grapplers . I like the ride height now what’s the min this will increase ride height
Can either get 2.5" lift or 3.5" lift!

@@MountZionOffroad awesome thanks for the information
I’m on the fence right now about going all out metal clock
I Just had the 3.5 game changer insalled yesterday and am so glad i opted for all 8 arms and track bars. Rides like a dream.
Do it!!
On the dual rate 3.5 kit do I need to change out the front drivshaft. I hear conflicting information about this.
Driveshaft is recommended, yes
is Metalcloak the best then in your opinion? You said "some of the best" - so what is the best 3.5" kit on the market?
We really like what MetalCloak has to offer, but it's hard to say that there is a "best" kit! All depends on preference and what you're going for!
I bought the true dual, don't regret it one bit. Plus you can add on the rest of the arms later
How do you think MC compared to Clayton lift kits. I’m on the fence with these two companies. I hear great things about both.
I have a 22 JL 392 XR with electronic sway bar disconnect. Will the dual rate allow me to keep my electric disconnect?

Good information
Glad you think so!
What wheels are on the white jeep?
Those are the Method 306
