    Half a day for one side, 2 hours for second, including filming. How did I do? 👇
    *Ps, the jack stand is always under every car I work, I'm paranoid when it comes working under a car. :D But safety first too.

    These days YT is a sea of overconfident,shouty,omglookatme,rich "influencers" and whatnot. Your channel is really refreshing as it's the opposite of all that .. a normal person for once. Keep up the good work on your Corrado. Alway's liked the look of those cars when i was a teenager and seeing these on the road. Best of luck with the car and the channel.

      @@KeidiandCarsYes they are pretty good cars I think. Body and motor. But old. Other things will break sooner or later. I am replacing the powerwindow motor now. Never did that before also. So both will be wiser after these jobs😊

    Great job! Happened across your channel and subbed. 👍
    If I may offer one suggestion... be extra careful when using an impact on nice wheels and always use a torque wrench when reinstalling.

    Two things . You need to “pack the bearing”. Get grease on your hand ( wear a 🧤 glove) and force grease into the bearing like it’s eating it like a shark. Not put grease on only the roller’s .
    And yes the corrado light switches love to break . I don’t know if you can use the early corrado or the golf mk2 light switch because the wiring might be different and the plastic liner looks like a T or an L prevents you from using the wrong light switch
    Over all great video ! What made you want to own and drive a corrado ?

    • @KeidiandCars
      @KeidiandCars  3 місяці тому +2

      Yeah, I put grease everywhere generously.
      As far as I know no other switch suite, and mine is later style as well, so cover is different to earlier Corrados.
      Thank you!
      Well, to be honest, the only reason at start was the 2.9 vr6. If it were 2.8 I wouldn’t have picked it.😀 And well, I doesn’t hurt the eye looks wise..😀 Of course when I got it, the whole car grew on me day by day and even 7 years later I look outside from home to get a peek of how beautiful this car is. And so enjoyable to drive and to handle. And to hear😏.

      Ofcourse, jack stands are always under the car, I don’t ever trust lifters alone.😊 Maybe it wasn’t seen on the video, but it was there.

    Sehr gute Arbeit wieder.
    Am besten nach einiger Fahrzeit Kilometer nochmal hinten das Radlagerspiel kontrollieren. Und gegebenenfalls nachstellen.

    Be careful for your bearings, it's better tighten nut with whell and you must tighten for max after your disk doesn't spin, loosen nut after you have play and little tighten when play goes away. Otherwise, the bearing can be destroyed. A fitted and tightened wheel should not have play, but should not rub.
    Every other successful work connect you with your project. Many lovely vr6 kilometres over the steering wheel.

    Väga tubli!
    Selliste poltide jaoks mis ei taha lahti tulla , soovitaks muretseda torujupp mis mahub võtmesaba peale, saad jõuõlga juurde ja suure tõenäosusega saad poldi lahti, igale poole küll toruga ei mahu aga hea abivahend ikka!

      @KeidiandCars  3 місяці тому

      Rattapoltidel olen kasutanud jaa kui häda käes, aga jaa, peaks varuma. Kunagi pole head suurust mis sobiks, kui kohe vaja.😅Aitähh!😊🙌🏼

    When you're talking about special tools for the calliper you shouldn't need anything special. You just need a c clamp so you can push the pistons back in if you were to do the brakes. They do make brake calliper tool sets if you did want to go that route but imo a c clamp works fine and if your car doesn't need the special kit I wouldn't get it!

      Also please use jackstands!!! It doesn't seem like you have any under the car but I could be wrong

    • @KeidiandCars
      @KeidiandCars  3 місяці тому +1

      Always, they are under there.
      Yeah I meant the caliper tools, I’m not much of an inventor with tools, I was told I could do it with slip joint pliers too.. but if there’s a special thing that makes my life easier then I prefer it.😀 Thanks!

    Muidu igasuguste plastikjullade jaoks võib mõelda 3d printimise peale.
