Hi there, this is the first time I’ve come across you my dear. I’m hoping you’re not doing all this on your own. I’m in the UK and also suffering a plethora of medical issues, and our NHS is nearly broken, but I feel so sorry for all those having to pay to be so ill. I will be thinking of you, from over the pond. ❤
Fortunately I've got a wonderful wife, mother, brother and sister in laws, family friends, old coworkers, even folks here; as total strangers. who have all pitched in here and there as they could, helping bring food, words of encouragement, or just about anything else. They've made a HUGE difference, more than I could ever say. The way the world is now we're all so stretched thin, I know it's a burden. I saw many patients (especially elders) in my days in the ICU and it truly hurts my soul to see most of them alone. I thank God for such caring people that have surrounded me through this. I can honestly say that without them all to think of, it would've been much easier to slip away into the afterlife, so much less suffering and awful pain. But here I am, hoping to spread encouragement or give someone info that may find themselves in my unlucky shoes one day. I sure hope all is well with you. I now work with several lovely people that are from the UK, and have had many comment from there as well. What a small world it is. God bless you and I pray for easier times to come your way
How very kind of you to reply. That has made me feel much better hearing you have great support. Yes small world indeed, but I’m very sensitive to the feelings of others, and until you’ve been truly SICK, you don’t see any of the problems that come along with it. It’s mind blowing eh. I will keep in touch, and if I can help in any way please let me know. Scary times to be ill. Love to your family too.
@@alisontrice2938 Thank you, and yes Indeed. You truly never know what someone may be dealing with, even if they appear to be perfectly normal, healthy, happy, etc... I couldn't agree more. My recovery has went decently well considering I'm alive and can go to my job. Unfortunately I'm still dealing with much pain, lung function issues, potential mass regrowth, potential issues with esophagus (more to come on that), and most definitely memory and "computing deficiency" (strange). But very grateful to be alive. Some days it's a tremendous challenge, but it's one I'm willing to take.
@@Teratoma-T my last visit to hospital, had tests etc, they read the list of “issues” and ended by saying “oh and you also have a SHIATSKI RING…..(esophagus)…..I had to laugh and tell them to leave my ring out of it, and they all collapsed laughing 😝! Humour and music get me through everything. Lost my brother in 1995 with renal cell carcinoma…and still I believe NOTHING a can be done for that one. Just keep your spirit up, and your hope…(my daughters name is Hope), as my baby son died and had many miscarriages, told to give up but I wouldn’t, she is now 30! God bless sweetie. ❤️
Hope you recover soon. I just found out about this type of disease a couple of days ago through a science channel. This tumor may look gross and it happens rarely, but on most occasion it's benign. I hope the surgery will fix this. Prayers for you
Yes they are very rare and can be very strange, with body parts inside sometimes. Most are benign like you said, and so far it looks like surgical removal has worked. But I have a massive amount of damage and trauma to the chest area where tumor was inside, due to how big it was, how long I had it, how brutal the 3 surgeries were, etc.. So now the main issue is the recovery, pain, healing, etc.. which has will be a year since the last surgery as of March.. Thanks for watching!
I do, somewhat reluctantly as I've never been the type to ever ask for help, and never wanted to be anything more than self sufficient. But I've also come to learn that by blessing someone else, you're opening yourself to blessing and good fortune, so by denying someone who wishes to I'm only denying them a chance at a blessing of their own. It should be in the description, but is a give send go account. I recommend them to anyone as they deduct practically nothing from donations compared to the other sites. givesendgo.com/Teratoma-T Thanks for asking
Sadly, I'm very aware of it. Unfortunately it will be the same fate (if not far worse) here in the states unless we turn it around very fast. Huge influx of "free / non-contributing consumers" of the system, exponentially more than the contributors. Sadly, not by coincidence. The same political powers that have done it all across the EU are very much here in US.
A form of cancer, but in my case believed to be benign. It did not show growth in a lab, BUT the potential exists for a few reasons. 1.) Teratomas are not very common, especially not in the chest like I had it. 2.) On my last CT scan in October, there was a mass that had formed (like 9-10mm) on a lung that had not been there in the several CT scans in the months after surgery. So all in all, I don't yet totally know what will happen next. I see my surgeon again this evening for yet another 3 months follow up, hopefully all goes well with Monday's CT (I've still not seen a report yet). Thanks for writing!
Prayers man
Many thanks Mike! Hope all is well brother
Its hump day man. Its ok. Lol
Prayers for you... !! Great to see you doing so well!!
Thank you! It's been quite a journey
I hope you get positive results soon. Please keep us updated as soon as you can. I'm praying for you 🙏

Do you have a gofundme or anything?

Health care system over there is so disgusting.
Largely, couldn't agree more (unless you're wealthy, of course)
@@Teratoma-TSame here in U.K. unless you can afford Private . The NHS is struggling with numbers . It needs a complete overhaul
