I borrowed this one from a school friend back in the day. I’m sure I gave up on it after some frustrating moments attempting to work out the puzzles 😄. The internet would certainly have helped me!
That said, it has a fairly bit of creativity. Nice to see you complete it 👌

Honestly this game would be pretty tough as a kid trying to figure all of the powers out and where to use them, so I totally get it, lol. But yeah it does have a good creative direction that certainly seperates it from the usual games out there for the time. Does make me want to at some point go through the NES game too. I liked the NES one well enough as a kid. But I never got too far into it. I rented it a few times. Never tried this one though.
I still need to fully go through the NES one! The games are a cool concept and I'd be willing to bet the NES one is a better game as a whole.

What a sluggish game in my opinion. As you said, the idea of puzzling with jellybeans is fun, but the way they designed the puzzles was not very interesting. Just turns into a trial and error while your blob tries to murder you by pushing you of platforms or into traps. Wasted potential. I can see they put love in the game but this game definitely needed a proper level designer.
I can see where you're coming from because the game can and does get very frustrating at times, lol. And a better level designer or manager of the game could have helped it a good bit too. But as an overall it's still a fun and unique idea. Thanks for watching!
