When you mentioned Being 24 and in pain all of time, I almost cried because I too have an autoimmune disease and I’m often uncomfortable or in pain but hate even mentioning it around family or friends because I don’t mean to sound like I’m constantly complaining so I completely understand how it can feel super frustrating and isolating :(
Hi Lindsey, I had my first botox session for TMJ a few months ago after having TMJ for over a decade. It definitely eased some of the tension right away and even more so after a week. My TMJ isn’t gone, but it’s a little better. I have heard that the botox treatment is definitely something that requires maintenance for a while. However, it’s nice that you can go a few months before the next treatment. It’s expensive, but worth it, imo. 💜
I understand how frustrating chronic pain can be as someone with a chronic illness - Crohn’s since I was 5, yay! - and sometimes all you can think about is feeling better and being painless.
this is in no way to make you feel uncomfortable but i’m only able to stomach food when watching your videos. you have this energy to you that makes me feel safe and secure, thank you for the effort you put into your passions :)
I was in a car accident last year and injured my neck as well. It also flared up my TMJ. I got the jaw Botox and it was a lifesaver and made all my headaches go away!! Highly recommend!! Lasted about 4 months for me and I got it in my masseter‘s
lindsey, i was just diagnosed w TMJ and instructed to go to physical therapy to help w the pain. i currently also go to acupuncture for management of it, but was told by a nurse friend that botox helped her TMJ tremendously!
Loved the idea with the wrapping paper! I always try to reuse wrapping paper after :) So sorry to hear about the ongoing pain, wish you all the best for the recovery❤️!
hey queen! I have tmj/migraines as well and got botox for it a few months ago and it is seriously the only thing that has helped!! I also did the whole mouthguard thing first and was hesitant to try botox but i'd def look into it. it wasn't covered by my insurance but was well worth the $$$ (so far)
I loveee vagabond shoes! I live in Europe and its a quite popular brand here. Their quality is honestly unmatched. I have my chelsea style boots from them since forever and they still look so good!
I'm in love in Vagabond! How fit are the loafers after 1 year? I too wanna buy them in Cosmo 2.0, but I'm worried abt sizing 😢 I have their Chelsea boots in 37 (24 cm), a bit loose but this is boots after all, good when there's space. But the loafers at the same 37 size have 23,5 cm insole?? So should I size up or order as it is
I visited my orthodontist when my jaw pain got unbearable. I had already had braces when i was younger but my alignment had changed over the past few years and we reaccessed my bite and decided to do Invisalign for a year. And a few weeks into treatment my jaw pain went away. Best decision i've ever made. No botox needed and i don't get headaches anymore. Sorry you're in pain, i hope it all gets better soon!
This Chili looks delicious! So easy, convenient, perfect meal to warm us up this winter! I make cooking videos too and love learning from others like you. I appreciate your sharing! 👍🏻
The way of making the food so perfect.. looks interesting & tasty such professional tutorial you always do the best for making content thank you keep it up 😍👍
i’ve had one session of botox for my tmj and personally did not notice a difference. it very well could be because my tension is really bad but i know quite a few people who have had success with it! i’ve had botox for chronic pain in other areas that has worked wonders so honestly i would recommend it to anyone who has the ability to try it!
Hi!! i dont have personal experience with TMJ but i watched a youtuber, Joanday, she got botox for her TMJ and it helps her but she had to do it a few times in a year!
Girl, I am 26 and have a prolapsed disc in my lower back which I’ll bet getting surgery for in January. I can totally get the young and in so much pain thing 😅
LOVE your vlogs! Quick question though and no judgement at all. But how do you draw the line between being vegan/cruelty free but wearing leather? I really struggle with this bc I'm also vegetarian and cruelty free but struggle because I don't want to wear animal product like leather, but pleather is bad for the environment bc it's plastic! I would just like to know your thoughts on this :)
In my opinion, secondhand leather is the most sustainable option but I’ve had a lot of vintage shoes fall apart so I decided to get a firsthand pair with the intention to wear them for years. I’ve owned a lot of vegan leather shoes and the material just doesn’t hold up with age. Resulting in more replaced shoes, waste, etc.
Sorry you are having pain. It’s no fun. Try big doses of calcium & magnesium as well as some arnica .. It will help with TMJ and muscle pain. Take a look at prolotherapy if thing don’t resolve with your pain. it’s not fun to go through but helps the body to heal itself. I’ve used it several times over the years. Hope you feel better soon!
@@EdmondsRachel Unfortunately there is no sustainable vegan leather, it is plastic. Real leather lasts for decades. I rarely buy it firsthand but I know these are shoes I will wear for many years. Hope that helps explain!
Lindsey is the ultimate comfort youtuber and it honestly makes my day when I see a new video 💕🌻
