For the first question, I facepalmed at the answer of Cloud Strife for silent protagonist because he spoke a lot in the first game... But then retracted that facepalm as somehow the community gave Master Chief the 10 point smh

I mean, link also talks quite a bit in the recent Zelda games too but that was the 50 point answer. I think people interpreted the question as a silent protagonist as not vocal

Why? I wouldn't know if Wario is in the game. I haven't touched a Mario Kart game since the 90s.
@@ericmicke4130 Wario has been in every mainline Mario Kart Game, except for the first one on the SNES.
The Mario franchise doesn’t have that many staple characters that he wouldn’t be a playable character in any Mario spin off.

There was a lot of confusion about what silent protagonist meant, given Link has some of the most famous vocalisations in gaming, after Mario.
Like, the term does mean people that don't speak rather than people who are actually silent, but you could hear the muttering and asking what counted because they weren't familiar with it.

many game devs put in a lot of hours at work and don't play many games outside of the one they're developing.
Seriously, some of the most fun you could ever have takes place while programming. I mostly just watch other people play games I'm not working on nowadays.
Also, 2023 was a whirlwind year as far as game releases go. With the sheer volume of really good games, Spider-Man 2 got a little lost in the sauce, doesn't mean it wasn't great, just a HUGE amount of competition.

NGL, I enjoy Blessing's hosting but we need to get an actual board on the wall and to show 'X' marks like the regular Family Feud; Blessing just saying, "Not on the List" gets annoying and the 'X' animation and sounds would be much more impactful, imo

It’s not on them when the audience has MASTER CHIEF as an answer for silent protagonist. How anybody can complain about their responses is beyond me. Literally anything is on the table when the audience is that wrong. 😂

I think it's the fact that as people who are either involved in making games or reviewing games,
1: More games come to mind that have silent protagonists for them than most people, having more interest in gaming from a historical lense. They weren't at a loss for picks.
2: Because of #1 nerves kick in from thinking of you many options and it's difficult to think of the most obvious choice.
3: Link is debatable because we often don't think of Mario as a silent protagonist but it's rare he has more lines that Link.
With the exception of Cloud, good answers 🤣

Some of these comments are so ignorant. Im sure most of the people in them would freeze up while being put on the spot. If the audience is the same as the people in the comments here, I can see why there are so many bad takes! 😅This was a lot of fun and I enjoyed the team dynamics a lot. A great way to mix it up while we wait for the next season of Kinda Feudy proper.

His tweet thread was about how Baldur's Gate 3's success is not one that can be easily replicated, given that its success came from a nexus of factors that any given studio cannot replicate; these factors being Baldur's Gate 3 being a product in a massive IP at the height of that IP's popularity ever, the benefits of Early Access as a production strategy (which has risks that you need to be a big enough company to be able to afford), and tons of talented staff that have put together games like this before.
Most studios can get the last one, but Baldur's Gate 3 was a massive success because it had all three, and those investing in the game industry are going to want to see games hit that level of success when they don't have the wind at their sails, and they are going to be stranded in the ocean because of it.

I think some of it is that they may follow different types of games than the Kinda funny audience. So, some things may seem obvious to us, but not on their radar.
@@AddMiller221 imo the only one that really seemed KF specific was the sequel question since they were all PlayStation franchises. The rest of the answers I think were what a general gaming audience would say
