He made a very good point when he said that more congested traffic location like Nyanya should have been considered first for metro line.
The Abuja metro was a typical PDP bullshit project. They built a line from the business district, through empty bush, to the airport. So that rich people could make their flights on time, while the vast majority of ordinary people benefitted nothing.
It's the same as the bullshit Abuja-Kaduna isolated rail line. We didn't even have a rail line to our biggest port, but their priority was to build one so rich people could travel to their country homes every weekend.

For any government transportation company to be sustainable, price and TICKETING issues should be looked at critically. I can't not imagine any government transportation company doing manual ticketing.

If it's not Central Cooling Systems, like that obtainable in the New Intl Terminal of the Abuja Airport, then its not "air conditioning'. Split units can never serve a crowded public place. All public buildings must be served with Central Air Conditioning with huge chillers, etc.

A light rail metro system is supposed to be built underground or overhead like the blue line in Lagos.
If you don't build the metro underground people will turn it into a garbage dump and market place.

I lived in China and tro out my stay I never knew what the train or subway horn sounds like. Yet I lived very close to the subway station.
Because Nigerians are stubborn no matter what some people will still walk on the rail line or cross the rail way so by blowing those horns they are saving life and telling those ppl about the danger
Trains come with horns. They probably don't use it the country you visited because people don't walk on the tracks. Walking on the tracks is very uncomfortable but Nigerians sort of enjoy it and they get offended if you don't let them
