Many years ago i saw this guy support the icelandic band Mum at Manchester's Deaf Institute. I distinctly remember he had food poisoning so wasn't really that engaging to watch as he kept disappearing in between songs to be sick. I regret not being aware enough of how great this guy was. Instead of watching intently i just got pissed and made the occasional passing glance to the stage. I just didn't get it at that time in my life - regret is a powerful emotion...

Never got to see them live, for some random reason they had a tour stop in a tiny town nearby in January next year, I was so excited when I saw that I'd finally get the chance to see them... wasn't meant to happen, I guess.
He'll be dearly missed. Thank you for some of the greatest music I've ever experienced.
