How This New Update Ruined Grinding... (Roblox Wild West)

- So Yes, Wild west progression update got delayed and instead of that we got a cracked ass update that ruined the regular old grinding strategies in the wild west. To simply say it, they removed and moved pretty much every ore in popular useful locations and now mining has just became dead. It is so dead that I have to use Skull emoji to describe it.

I had a change of heart, I loved the Wild West back in the day, but because there was so much being added to the game (I’m looking at you, auction update), the prices went up, then down, then up, etc. I have now moved to Westbound, it’s simple, easy to grind, and has a stable playerbase

Personaly, i see this update as a transition foundation from grinding to actuall rewarding and compelling gameplay
For now, it might seem miniscule, but in the future, some other changes might pop up that will justify these changes (maybe the progression update)
But as off now, we can only speculate
Hope so. I hate grinding
this game is honestly screwed if they dont release the progression update soon because they're just digging a deeper and deeper hole

this update was needed. in a game hitting a plastic yellow rock should not hold up the economy
But it does and now earning money will be useless for like 3 months
im happy i finished grinding for all my auction items like a day before this came out lol
when grinding simulator grind is already long AF but the grinding simulator decides to make the grind even more long and painful 😎👌
Biggest mistake of TWW: Auction house.

You do realize, people still have remaining money, It will take 2 - 4 months for the economy to recover slowly until the prices actually decrease.

@@TTOUFIQ It's a long term thing, it's not supposed to be immediate lol. However I do still see your point. The update in my opinion is kind of unnecessary, because even though grinding is a pain, it's only a few hours of grinding to get some auction items. The only ones that will take a while to get are low serial auction items, and spitfires lol, and occasionally Patterson's. So yeah, I didn't think this update was needed, people just need to be less lazy lol.

I spent the Dread Pirate because I think the Progression Update was going to replace the Gold Dragoon with a Flintlock and that's fine with me, I hope it doesn't cancel the Progression Update and rip me off.
For real me and my friend were grinding after 3 quadrillion years and I NOTICED THEY DELETED THE ORES OR REPLACED A SOME GOLD WITH IRON. Aw man :(
I left wild news because the prices have not fallen, but are staying the same, and from ore mining you get NOTHING, and to win in this game you need a good, fast weapon and luck
Basically, the devs are like "frick you, we're not giving you money. And Spitfire is only for OGs."
Soo yeah, currently, Wild West is not in a good shape, even when the Halloween event is still up right now.
I love the new contents, but what about new methods of making money? Instead of nerfing the value of ores, pelts and even meat (yes, meat was $50 and now it's $40. 💀)

But I guess the devs are still being bombarded by everyone for not adding the construction update.
I mean gator hunting and bear hunting now will give you a crap ton of money and people did complain that mining was boring so here we have a hunting update
I feel like Wild West trying to throw out random updates to delay the inevitable death of the game. That’s my opinion tho. I would be shocked if they even released half of the shit they promised us within this year.
I swear, every year around Christmas and Thanksgiving and what not everyone gets excited thinking the progression update or the building update is coming soon and every year everyone gets disappointed because the update never comes.
I get it, they need to take their time on the updates because if these updates sucked then it would probably completely kill the game (not bugs or glitches or whatever but the updates being terrible content-wise) but this is ridiculous at this point. people have been expecting this update since like 2020!

Making real money in this game is near impossible. Bounties are a relatively small trickle, and that’s if you’re skilled enough to lasso regularly. Hunting is annoying, although at least pelts are worth more, and train/bank robberies are useless because you lose more money than you make when your bounty is claimed. At least steamboat robbery is still good
welp time to quit for westbound! That game might be dog but atleast everyone isnt try hard sweating toxic little 14 year old kids who scream the n word into the mic in the discord call with their boyfriends, and it doesnt take a year to get a single decent weapon.

I always hated mining cuz its boring as fuck and i lose IQ while doing it i also liked hunting but killing the same animal for 10 minutes only to get 1.5k just wasnt the drill for me.

Remove half of the only ores that people mine and buff the prices of animal stuff with 20 bucks (the cheapest auction gun is still around 30k)

at least they made the fun grinding method actually useful, cuz shooting animals.. or idk throwing tomahawks at them. is much more fun than hitting yellow rock for 300 hours :)
hiting rocks is 10X easier than roaming around the map for animals that have the possibility to kill you

I personally think this is good, this game was made to be a rpg wild west game, not a pvp focused shooter to grind money that no one at the time this was set would have, the new grinding method u put out will give more of the original feel to the game so you live like a cow boy / outlaw rather than a miner your entire time playing. Hopefully ppl will start to play this game like a rpg and not a grinding simulator.

No hard feelings regarding my request about you making a video about my ingame faction to fix it's current problems hopefually. Inreture for like 1m in game money or sompthing right? I mean can you blane me for aproaching you for that on discord because you are the Biggest UA-camr that makes Wild West content afterall. I am just a bit sad and tirered in seeing my faction in the state that it is allways in it's shadow in it's former years because it had 200+ members at it's high point and now it has like 5 members but thaire all experts in thaire craft and skills ingame. Wow they finally updated the game but instead of new content they nerfed mining, something that NOBODY FUCKING ASKED FOR. They could have just buffed hunting and left it at that so it could be used as an alterative grinding method. Mining is already risky enough having to deal with campers, grinder killers, traps, and other bullshit. This update is just going to make mining harder for new and regular players because with less ores, there's a higher chance of getting jumped while mining. Typical starboard studios L.
