2002-2003 was the peak for the Q imo AND the highest peak for Phil since the'68-'74 era. I first caught on to the G. Dead in 1980 and figured I had missed out. The Q brought out Phil's vision of how to play in some ways that the Grateful Dead did not or could not, and so I was surprised and amazed in '02. I had a brief conversation with Rob B. at a DSO show in 2014, and he said that the Q pushed each member to new heights.
A truly fun show. The legendary wordsmith Robert Hunter was one of the openers, and he did a full on Sad Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands, about twelve minutes of lyrics. Crazy. Bill Krerutzman brought his band, The Trichromes, along as well. Ah summer tour. Those were the days.
Thank you kindly sir for all you do for us in listening land !!!! Very much appreciated ,😁🙌😀🙋😘😉😊☺😆😄😃😎😋😆 !!!!!!! Any chance you might be or want to go to the Peach Music festival in Poconos Pa 😁 it's a wonderful time 😀😀 would like to show our gratitude , making a run of tshirts for you and the other internet Bootleg Kings !!! You,Okie, gnu, Voodoonola ,etc figured that is the very least I can do for all the Smiles , memories , you guys are keeping the Faith Alive !!! Renewing others , I met a 63 yr old Woman who just found our space in forgotten time , never really heard of the Grateful Dead !! Her man left her and was lost , with the help of you guys I made her playlists of what I thought would go down easy and comfortable , that was months ago , many a playlist later she sent me an email telling how she now wakes up and puts on GD , Jerry , etc . and falls asleep too it !!! Never could have done it without you guys !!! I directed traffic but you guys supplied the Rainbow ✌💗😁 to you and yours !! 🌈🌈🌈🌈
Night of a thousand of a stars is so good. I wish the boys would do an album together. Imagine and Phil and Bobby album with some great musicians like Warren
I was there 21 years ago and still amazed.
Probably the best post-dead events ever. I put this above 99 lesh and phriends. Beyond beautiful and flawless all the way through.
This particlar lineup was some of the best shows this 43 year has ever taken in. Period.
hella treat, your ears do a double take, jimmy!?!!

What a long, strange coincidence! I, too, was anointed. I spilled Greek salad dressing on my shirt. Cleaned it off with lettuce and tomato.
