My 3 year old son asks if he can watch Shelly and Jeff every evening before bedtime. The videos with rhinos are his favorite ones. Thankyou for making such amazing family-friendly content.

Excellent video Jeff! Looks like an amazing trip.
We contacted Jeff to help plan our July 2025 safari adventure. Through him, we were connected to Gorilla O’clock, a safari operator that we feel comfortable with and fully trust. We’re very excited about our 17-day journey through the Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and Zanzibar!
Thank you so much Jeff and the team at Gorilla O’clock!

We went to Tanzania last year and absolutely loved it. Everyone needs to go at least once in their lives (we loved it so much that we went to Kenya several months ago). I recommend adding Ngorongoro Crater and the Great Migration north of the Serengeti if the season is right. We saw 5,000 Wildebeasts battle the crocodiles in mid-September, 2023. The jeep ride is brutal. Six hours of banging along rutted dirt roads at 40 mph is hard . If you aren't in good health or have back problems, try to fly between destinations.

Great itinerary! I loved my stay at Elewana Migration Camp! I'm still thinking about the food, it was delicious.....And its so nice to see Mokili again... loved Zanzibar and the ride to Prison island ❤

Also...trip is complex-major differences between camps and tour groups. Having Jeff help makes sense. You need to know beforehand whether you are sharing the vehicle with strangers or have a private car. Saw some vehicles with eight passengers versus our private Land Cruiser...driver with two of us. Other advice...GO!

I didn’t see lots of other guide trucks. How did you avoid crowds?

Those are some other wild reserves that many tourists don't visit, Tarangire national park.
In Tanzania, other wild animals can be found in some small national parks like:
      - Katavi national park
      - Saadani national park
      - Mkomazi national park
      - Mikumi national park
      - Manyara national park
      - Saanane Island
      - Gombe game reserves (Gorilla only)
      - Burigi Chato National park
      - Tarangire national park (Where some of the clip, I think was taken)
(All of these smaller game reserves, as compared to Serengeti are not crowded)
But, If you want an intensive safari and seeing all the big five together, Serengeti covers all.
