I was super into magic with a buddy of mine we would buy the new sets and build decks and play a few games together everyweek then he stopped talking to me and i've fallen out of magic and mostly play hearthstone usually just on online and occasionally with my girlfriend. Not sure why i told this story but something about a magic opening video made me slightly sad and reminiscent of old times
circlehousePRO my closest friend got me into MTG a few years ago, and while we still talk, we just don't have time to hang out any more, but my wife. who used to mostly roll her eyes at us playing, saw some of thr art work, got into collecting, I built her like two decent decks and taught her how to play, now even if I can get out to play often my wife enjoys the game just enough to actually start asking me if I want a quick match. say the least I think I taught her fairly well given she beats me about as often as I beat her (out of context that could sound bad, lol). I guess where I'm going with this is maybe teach your Gf to play, build her the best deck you possibly can, I'm sure since she likes Hearth Stone she would enjoy Magic to some degree.
Paradox Engine would be insane in a green mana ramp deck. That first rare you pulled gives 2 +1/+1 counters and all creatures with counters now produce mana and your druid foil. You just mana ramp, to cast something, then they untap because you cast something, so you could literally unload your hand and have up to like 7 mana by turn 3.

beware unlike other good tcgs magic takes way more of your money if you want to be competitive. (Hint it isn't worth it unless you go to championships)
I got some okay cards out of my AR box, sadly no extra plains walkers, but a couple mythic and one fatal push, I may work on reconfiguring the black/blue deck to include that for my brother, he is just getting into magic and I've been working on a decent standard deck for him, see if Fatal a push works with the rest of the deck and bam, I think he will be set up with a decent deck, be honest, used to to play against my own deck against my wife and it just beat the hell out of it, and normally my wife and I tend to trade wins with fair frequency. nope every game.
Yea its been basically proven that fatal push gets printed at basically a rare rate. This stems back to early magic sets when they had more in depth levels of commonality. When cards used to have labels like uncommon 1 (U1) and uncommon 2 (U2) and they used to advertise that they had different print rates. Not as obvious with the more generic labels but WOTC really isn't hiding anything if you go digging.

Hey boogie you have always sort of told anyone who may be new to magic how to tell rarity which is the set symbol but there is another way on the bottom corner next to the number of cards in the set and which number that card is it will also have a c= common u= uncommon R = rare m= mythic just thought you should know I have been playing for a long time never really noticed the c u R or m

So I'm assuming your channel is listed as a small business with a tax ID number. have you looked into getting with a distributor to save you some money? you may not have a brick and mortar store but if you opened up a online store some distributors might work with you. you could also see about boogie shirts and paraphernalia too. might be a good way to diversify your earnings.
