Yes, you sound mostly American. Just focus on your American accent, and that should feel more natural than trying to switch over to British English. Japanese schools mostly teach the American accent, except for a few words like "been." In Japanese/British, it rhymes with "bean," but Americans say it more like "ben" or "b'n." Sometimes Japanese people don't understand me when I ask where they have "ben," because they expected to hear "bean!"
The British O sounds very different to me! It sounds like "uhh-ou." The American O sounds like "ou," and the Japanese お sounds like "o."
By the way, I think I have said 優先席 the wrong way. I would say YUUsenseki, but you made it seem like it's YuuSENseki. I will try to say it the right way from now on. Thanks for showing the correct pronunciation in this video! When I first came to Japan, I hated the sound of the nasal が because it didn't sound Japanese to me, but now I'm used to it.
I think the hardest parts about Japanese are 1. counting different things 2. realizing/remembering if a word has う or not, like if 特許 is とっきょ or とっきょう. (I know it's とっきょ in this case, but there are many similar words where I'm not always sure.) 3. saying English katakana words like レストラン the Japanese way instead of the American way.
I also don't fully understand the pronunciation for suika (watermelon) and suica (card). I wanted to say "I like watermelon," but I pronounced it as suica card! (Oops!)

I enjoyed this movie very much,ty.It is understandable that you mentioned Sugamo was your favorite station.Although you fluently speak English,your movie locations have been often selected with Japanese flavor such as temples,shirines or Ninja action.When I watched other movie in strong Aomori dialect,I became so sure that you had stronger Japaese core something like that,lol.In other word,えふりこきじゃないところがいいですｗ Ok,I'm always looking forward to your jubilant movies.Seeya.
