I was let go several times in my career due to economic situation and my experience level. The best advice I can give you is
1) Losing a job is simply an opportunity to move in new directions
2) Always improve your skill level so that you become a more valuable employee
If you do #2 very well then you will be the one who decides where you stay and when you chose to leave 😊👋
There's also youtube has a good place to grow income ❤
Please don't be depressed because you lost your job I know what that feeling is like you have a lot of support from all of us here

I think I've always lost every job I ever had, lol. Most between 6-12 months, longer reaching 2 years. Just get bored, fed up, and self-sabotage. Uni degree in science with first class Honours, but never found a fit. If you can find your niche, you're a lucky individual!
What kind of science? I'm in molecular biology, doing a not so good job at my current position at a rural university

It's nice that you've gotten a job with the onigiri shop and you found a new place for your bar in Asakusa.
Miley-Chan visits a friend she's not seen in 5 years , walks into his Onigiri shop the day before it opens and then continues to eat the contents of the shop in one sitting , followed by a glass or two of wine to build up the courage for strong business negotiations on opening her own bar in the same premises . The negotiation went like this . Can I open a bar ???? ..... "OK" ... end of negotiations lol . I think you could call it (Smiley Miley Style ).
And abruptly right after the singing and dancing 😅

Tokyo is a interesting place. It’s so alien and unusual to me but in a good way. I like countries like Japan that make me feel that way. It’s almost like when you walk through street’s and notice they cross into different world’s,self-contained plane of existence, co-existing with one's own.
