As Mayer said, they don't want to fade away in boredom, they want a "Ta-Da!" last tour. Nothing is perfect or not for long but they are killing it. Bobby does seem a bit more worn at times, can't imagine why.
Damn… Can y’all not catch the vibe? This is amazing! If they had played this in Dallas. I WOULD HAVE LOST MY DAMN MIND! While sneaking some weed at the back of the place watching my kids enjoy The Dead. Appreciate a good thing when you see it.
I'm shocked at some of these comments. Most of them are just rude for seemingly no reason. D&C are a great band. Thanks Cowboy Neil! Nicely made videos!
Wow!!!!!!!THANK YOU - So special and moving - really appreciate you posting all the amazing music- they stole my face- this is gets me sentimental!bobbies putting his heart all in this - feeling it deep!
I'm so glad I can follow along while I'm at work without too much ado. Sometimes I'm afraid the boss will show up to bemoan the distraction, but without disruption we're not likely to pass at all.
Definitely one of the moments when D and C rises above their failings and partially accomplishes their intended end. Still, inevitably, a beat on the slower side and the jams stretch into inconsequentiality without peaking. But listenable. Amazing how Weir maintains his vocal powers at his age. Some of the strength is gone but his range and inflection are pretty damn good.
I want it the way I always had it! How dare they do it differently! I reject this approach to playing my sacred songs. If it's not the same, it's no good.
Garcia was about a certain perspective on life. D&C honor his memory as well as the greatest fans in the world. I 7:23 f your not intp D&C then DONT LISTEN. AFTER ALL, they're just a cover band, right? Ungratefully alive, how's that?
Bobby always has sucked at guitar (that's why you rarely hear him). Now his voice sucks.... Went to a Rat Dog concert and you could not even hear his guitar. He owes Jerry and the GD everything. Can't stand him....
@@dylanized101 I get it. I am in my 60s and have listened to the GD almost ever day since 1979. I still do. There is no equivalent to them. But truth is truth. Bobby has always been the band idiot.
@@lifeonsibuyanphilippines7212 As a jazz and progressive rock fan, I prefer most of Bobby's compositions to Jerry's. I also appreciate the leadership he provided in bringing new band members into the fold and adding a pro-woman vibe. Jerr invented the Dead, Bob kept it interesting
The editing to highlight them while singing is awesome. One of best dead and co songs imo
What's up ? There sound & playing is exceptional..Going out with a BANG!!!
