In my opinion... After a ton of tactical reloads in many new FPS games... Seeing classic reloads again is a breath of fresh air
CSCZ's were the best.
It is my favourite CS ever. Ever.
The weapons, their animations, their sounds [CV-47, Magnum, IDF Defender and SG 552 deserve special mention]. The awesome Agents [Artic Avengers, Guerilla Warfare, MidWest Militia, SAS and Dev 6] Beautiful maps [like Survivor, Chateau, Office, Fastline], interactive hostages [who talked, ran, showed emotions and spoke]

Got so nostalgic writing this. Am transported back to the good ol' days.
The days when I was a carefree boy, who came back from school, changed clotges, had lunch, and then sat down with coffee to play epics like CSCZ, COD MWs, NFS Underground, Heat and MW, ETS, GTA VC, SA and then IV and TBOGT, went to play tennis in the evening, showered, had dinner, spend time with family, game till Midnight, and then go to sleep to got to school the next day just to repeat the entire thing.

CS 1.6, CS:CZ, CS XBOX, CS Neo, CS:S: *all have different reload animations for each gun*
CS:GO and CS2: let's pretend like that didn't happen. *almost every single gun uses the same animations*
CS:GO is literally an animation that ends in reverse. He puts back the same mag he took off

Its like that since 1.6, you can spot It by increasing your viewmodel's FOV using console commands (the viewmodel is your characters arms and the weapon they're holding btw). They do that to save resources when animating, because its pointless to create 2 separate animation cycles for removing and inserting a different magazine when you can just reuse the same one and use the camera angle to not show the part where It reverses and goes back into the gun, making It look like It "fell off" your characters hand and that he got a new one from his pocket. Much more efficient
The fact is that MP5 & Benelli m3 have the feature of flashlight & in condition zero it is installed on the guns rather than other games not having flashlight

csgo was originally developed by a different company. valve managed to make the hand at least look good, but they stopped at animations for some reason.

Valve make great games but always lacked in the animation part, mainly in the weapons where as some feel robotic, then some feel too simpilified. I really hope they start improving in that area since they do an almost perfect job everywhere else to the point it really starts to show how lacking they are in FPS animations.
Yeah like Team Fortress 2, but these animations are iconic though and quite unique in my opinion
Their games were more of a run and gun, gameplay oriented approach than something like call of duty or battlefield which have more detail and flow to their animations. Maybe that’s why
Valve didn’t make the csgo animations hidden path did
a part of me likes to believe that they made the animations robotic so that players can tell when the reload is done, for timing purposes

The new ones are more practical for gameplay purposes. The old one took long enough. The CSGO-CS2 one are made for quicker reload so they have less room for attention to details
Old CS is the best reloads! But new CS are gay reloads!

Counter strike series is ok but the game not refresh animation which kinda outdated even counter strike 2 brand with new graphic everything got improve but only animation just same as csgo if valve refresh animation i believe some hardcore fans are really happy because new animation and this game have potential in mobile but they need take a time to port valve into mobile
Porting this game to mobile wouldn't work well, Valve doesn't dabble on mobile games and Source needs a decent mobile phone to be able to play it in
i know, alternative like unreal engine should be match beside how many mobile use unreal
