Thanks Pastor Jones For Another Outstanding Lesson. The Disciple That Jesus Love So Much.He Won't Have You Ignorant Of His Words And Of His Being. When The Disciple Peeped In And Saw He Believed. It Was Because He Hurried Before Peter With Anticipation To See Inside The Tomb And Just To See If JESUS Was Gone. I think He Knew At That Moment That Jesus Had Risen. While Peter Wasn't Sure, Because He Hadn't Grasp This On A Spiritual Level Because JESUS Pre-Told The Disciples What Was Going To Happen.Mary Magdalene Also Believed That Something Great Was Getting Ready To Happen And The Angels Appear Letting Her Know That He Had Risen.Even When We Can't Quite Understand Right Way We Must Know That God Will Reveal It To Us In His Timing. Thanks Pastor Jones And May God Continue To Keep Blessing With His Wisdom Might And His Strength In Him.Amen!!!💝🙏📖👂🙌👏💨👍☺💜
Praise the Lord Pastor Jones We really enjoy your Sunday School Lesson. We think you are great in explaining the lesson. Thank you and Happy Valentine Day to you and your First Lady
Thank you for the lesson Pastor. As usually, your insights and thoughts give rise to understanding and growth in the word of God. Bless you and yours and a Happy Valentine Day to you both!
May God bless you Pastor Jones, you don't know how you have helped me as I prepare my Sunday School lesson each week. Thank you so much and I pray that God will continue to use you as you help us get God's word out.
Yes, Giving is important when it comes to gratitude that comes from the depth of our heart ❤️ God does love a cheerful giver! I hate it when I hear a sermon forcing the people to give and making us to feel guilty when the preacher expresses that you are not giving enough.
I believe that His faith grew to another. Seeing the manifestation of the prophecy that Jesus has arose from the dead. This is how we grow from faith to faith. Good evening my brother. Wonderful teaching. Always!!
I love to have received the Reward Mary Magdalene received there to hug Jesus Christ. My King James Version says in St. John 20:17 “Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not ascended to my Father:.......” but, you say that she did touch Him and cling onto Him. I don’t understand. Where in the Bible does it say she touched & cling onto Him? Now, in my heart, I cline into my Heavenly Father & always will. Please text me your explanation. You taught a wonderful lesson today that so many of us need & want to see Jesus in our time right now of need His touch. Thanks so much.
Blessings to you and thank you for your question, Matthew 28:9 states that they came and held Him by the feet...... John uses the term Touch which means to hold on to, to cling on to. I’m not saying she hung unto Him, but Jesus told her not to
Thank you for the lesson. We read last week of the Samaritan woman who was overcome with zeal and went out evangelizing in her own town. First Evangelist in Sarmaria. However, Mary Magdalene was so obedient to Jesus, she followed his instructions. " Go tell my brethren" Yet there were others in the room. Verse 18: she came and told the disciples... ( More than the twelve).
Hello Pastor, What is a sinful woman: Luke 7:36-50. I heard you mention she was Not a prostitute. Is Marymaglen and Martha sisters? Or a different person? Martha, Mary and Lazarus. Thank you! Great Word👏👏
Hello Pastor. Bearing in mind customs way and the status of women at that time, what do you suppose was the martial status of the women who followed Jesus and gave to him of their substance. I think it's a fair guess that some were single and widowed. However do you think married women of that day neglected their households to follow Jesus? Just a thought. Thank you.
Hummmmm very good question, we do know that at least one was married, but whether they didnt take care of home is a very good question. It makes you wonder if they left and came home or what. Also if one woman husband worked the palace, he may have not been there much anyhow lol
I started to speak in unknown tongues when you said “How could they move/carry the stone that the builders rejected!” Come on Jesus! Hallelujah👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏽 God bless you Pastor🙏🏽
Thank You For This Wonderful Lesson. My question is, When was the last time you supported someone or something until the end even knowing that you would not receive the result for which you had hoped and prayed? Thank You 🙏🏿
You are so welcome, yes yes and amen, ohhhhh I could testify about the many souls I have invested in, but not looking for a return but an opportunity to advance the Kingdom. Great question
Pastor Jones I would like to share something that I found in my study of the Sunday school lesson. I will share this with my class to read before we go into the lesson. Please Read The fact that all four gospels include a similar but not identical account (with three of the passages mentioning an alabaster box of ointment) has given rise to a certain amount of confusion about these incidents. Matthew 26:6-13 and Mark 14:3-9 describe the same event, which occurred two days before Passover (Matthew 26:2 and Mark 14:1) and involved an unnamed woman who entered the home of Simon the leper. Both passages mention an alabaster box, and both say that the unnamed woman anointed Jesus’ head. John 12:1-8 seems to speak of a different, yet similar event, which took place six days before Passover (John 12:1) in the home of Martha. Here, an alabaster box is not mentioned, but the name of the woman who anointed Jesus is: Mary, Martha’s sister. The incident in Matthew and Mark and the incident in John all took place in Bethany, but on different days. Also, Mary is said to have anointed Jesus’ feet, but no anointing of His head is mentioned. Jesus defends Mary’s action against the criticism of Judas, saying, “It was intended that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial” (John 12:7). A third anointing of Jesus (the first, chronologically), described in Luke 7:36-50, took place in the house of Simon the Pharisee rather than the house of Simon the leper. This event occurred in Galilee, not Bethany, about a year before the crucifixion (Luke 7:1, 11). Luke mentions an alabaster box (verse 37). The woman on this occasion was forgiven of many sins, but her name is not given. Like Mary, the sinful woman anointed Jesus’ feet with the perfume. She comes to Jesus weeping and showing loving worship to the One who forgave her of her sins. The similarities these three incidents share have caused some confusion, but the differences are significant enough to warrant viewing them as separate events. In two of the incidents, the gospel writers mention the presence of an alabaster box.
Thank you and very well put, I also believe they are separate events. Funny thing I'm teaching the union Press lesson and it's about Mary and Martha who Anointed Jesus feet. I know I said Mary in the.lesson but was not referring to this Mary
Pastor Jones, I believe when John ( the beloved Disciple "Believed" upon looking in the tomb that all JESUS had taught them became " actual, manifested and factual to him at that moment he saw The Master was not there. I believe The reality of the last 3 1/2 years came flooding into his heart and he believed (Knew without a doubt, without hesitation, that JESUS was INDEED The SON of The Living GOD. John was absolutely convinced now more than ever, for he chose to believe at the first and now all was totally certain, no room for maybe or perhaps but unequivocally, definitely, unmistakable that JESUS , IS WHO HE said HE was! John believed with all of his faith, for he had seen it all with his own eyes. All possible doubt was eradicated forever! Thank GOD, I too Believe JESUS, as well.
Blessings the word touch here means to hold on to not to simply place the finger or hand upon, it means to cling onto, to hold up for a period of time, plus I believe Matthew 28:9 mentions holding Him by His feet. We cannot use our term for touch, but their term at that time

No....we said last week that the Samaritan woman was first to share the gospel of Jesus.
Soooo, was she sharing the gospel?
Mmmm...🤔...ok...I guess you can say she was giving her testimony as well...
Hahahahahahaha
