Wah nice to see this ONGC colony.I m staying in Delhi (dwarka) 40yrs before we were posted in Rajmandry. My father was in ONGC. And after 10yrs we were posted in baroda ONGC. And we stayed till 9yrs in ongc colony. So by seeing this memories, felt so good. Really ongc colony is the best. The people and the environment is very good. We really miss our baroda ongc colony.

We also done same setup, one bedroom, in other room ,almira+ fridge+puja room! The space between hall and bed rooms is very narrow, atleat rajamundry have good quarters, but here in mehsana 😢

Beautiful township of ongc
The colony is good...I like the environment and atmosphere there.. but I have one complaint regarding the quaters. Interiors are not fully furnished and the design looks old ... I mean to say people reach these PSU's by so much hard work and if they get this as a result , it's quite demotivating.....how many of you all agree?

There are more than 4000 Apprentice required in ONGC. The Apprentice has 1 year tenure, and monthly payment is even awarded to those selected.

Before applying for ONGC Apprenticeship training, candidates have to first register themselves in the online portals of Govt. of India specific to your trade.
Trade Apprentices:- National Skill Development Council (NSDC) at apprenticeshipindia.org/
Technician Apprentices:- Regional Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) in National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) under Ministry of HRD. portal.mhrdnats.gov.in/
Ongc is versatile company. A lot of facilities and perks depend upon your department and place of posting. This is only half truth.
Barauni Indian oil refinery township is also built in a similar pattern. Just we have 2 storey apartments and more individual houses with lawn area. Also, our kitchen is more beautiful. Ha ha just kidding.

It is different for all PSUs depending on requirements. Most of the IT services are on contract basis. Few officers as Programmers are taken to take services from IT coys.
