Making your own homemade sprinkles with leftover royal icing

It’s easy to make your own royal icing sprinkles!
Royal icing recipe:
4 cups powdered sugar
3 TBSP meringue powder
5 TBSP water
Mix powered sugar and meringue powder in a stand mixer. Mix until combined. Add in the water. Once water is fully incorporated, turn the speed up to medium. Mix for six minutes on medium speed.
To make sprinkles:
Thin royal icing to toothpaste consistency. Pipe in lines on parchment paper. Let dry for several hours. Once dry crunch up lines into small sprinkles.
