I think the gunshot wound represents his broken heart, and the limbo/sunset that he's stuck in represents him being stuck in a state of heartbreak and the memories of the relationship. The sun never sets bc he's not ready to move on, and I think Jaden finally released this video now bc he's moved on. SYRE is no more and he's escaped his limbo/heartbreak in real life.

syre is trapped in the sunset, he lost and he dies cus he is falling with this person so deep and his soul turns into erys which is inversely proportional to syre. more free, wild but still need love. about wounds and blood vomited, it is a semiotic of his deep love for someone to leave heartache and scars, like wounds.

This is amazing! I never listened to Jaden but I will sure check more of his music. This was pure and real and relatable. The videography ties up so well with the lyrics. Also, I like how he included some tribal African sounds and flow in a lot of parts of the song.
