do you know how to tighten the pin on a brooch, please? I mean the part that keeps opening and allowing the sharp thing to be free at will.

Sounds like the pivot is loose. Pinching the pivot lever with pliers may be all you need to make it drag and not move freely.... Thank you for the corner stop.!!

PappysCorner, worked like a charm on the first one. I think the second one was just too old to help and needed to be put out of it's misery. Thanks again, so much, for your help!

This is my first visit of your channel. I usually let 48hrs before checking out a creator's content, but, naah, for your channel now. I should be fan # 9 1 5. Played thrice full watch this video so I can honestly make a good comment. If this was your first upload, you really did good. Funny at the end, no wonder you have got a lot of views. But not many comments. It would help if viewers would drop comments which is good for your channel analytics, and more.

Very good my valued friend. First few years I was not collaborating with others (tubers). Actually I don't think I ever watched any other channels. My direction was making content for family and friends on FB consequently some comments were made on FB which did not help me. Then a couple years ago I started getting inquiries (offers) to monetize thru their business. So I investigated and did it myself. Since then and especially when the $$ started coming I decided to watch other creators and trying to improve my channel. The policy change hit me hard, now playing catch up and concentrating on quality supporting channels. Constantly learning from others like you, thank you so much. Best of luck!! ... Pappy

Great vid! I'm wondering how much would it cost and where I can go to have a brooch pin re-positioned? I got this beautiful (but heavy!) blue peacock brooch from TJMaxx as a gift but that darn pin is positioned really weird! Instead of *across the top* (to carry & distribute) (the weight) of the bird, it is positioned *at an angle* with the top of the pin facing up versus down! It's so heavy that there is no way to wear this thing without it sagging from it's weight! I wish I had of tried it on but I didn't think about nor consider any of this before it was purchased so now I have a beautiful brooch to look at but impractical to wear!

You could fix it yourself if you buy a couple strong magnets at the craft or hardware store and super glue one to the broach and use the other to hold it on behind fabric (shirt/blouse). If you want to wear it on a thick coat then you may need to buy a new pin and superglue on it.... good luck.!!

Epoxy resin or jewellery cement is better, super glue can discolour pearls badly and ruin them.
