Thank you for a great share of your life experience. Keep up the good content. I really like your channel. Two Thumbs Up. I have migrated to Vancouver from Hong Kong for 23 years+ - Adrian from Vancouver
I too studied university in the US. The experience opened my eyes. Not only did I learned English, but I also learned her culture, driving, and ways of seeing things from different angles. Like you I didn't like the Hong Kong living style. After graduation I decided to migrate to a foreign country and never looked back.
Thank you for watching! Texans are pretty nice and wild. Working with my host brother who was a roughneck, was one of the best moments of my life haha I will definitely find a chance to share with you guys ;)
thank you just watch bunch of videos from ur channel, like ur sharing which is very constructive, rational and objective to me, ur direct and honest sharings are really helpful for ppl who are considering to immigrate in this age to get a broader and indepth info about Canada, many many thanks and have a nice day!🙂🙏
Almost everyone gave up their good job back in HK for their kid well being. Would you able to accept your kid being a Canadian more than an Asian ? 23:14 Or expect the kid to speak Cantonese and to hold Asian value ? Or the kid is to marry someone with similar race , ethnicity and culture? Or worst case to accept if your kid to pregnant during teens ? Or they will leave your home after 18yeard old? And where do you see yourself in next 10 years ? Able to have good job and $$ ? Or minimum wage ? Or continue to have family help if any ? Is nice if you could discuss in your next video. 😊 I think that is also important factors for any immigration.
Haha, I think those are interesting questions that are asked by immigrant parents every single day. I'm sure parents feel a cultural distance when their kids stop speaking Cantonese even when they are at home ;) Thank you for your suggestions
04:00 The fact that your Mexican classmate wanted to sell/show you his possession (of cannabis) is so typical of Americans. They want you to become / merge into their culture. That in itself is where the USA is so different than Canada. In Canada, you can bring your culture, language, etc. and no one will want others to “melt” into each other’s cultures - because of multiculturalism.
Thank you 🫡

Kyle, I came across your videos recently and agreed with your points of view in many cases. I start watching more 😃.
Thank you for your kind words and support 🥰
Wow thank you for your sharing, would love to hear more your Texas living, very out of this world, I mean my world lol 😂

I appreciate that!
Exactly what I like to know. Very interesting.
Thank you for watching 🤝
Re: movie “ To Sir With Love”. You are so blessed with experiences. HK family settled with children turned out to be medical doctors .
for me, it was super lonely here in the US, esp. in Philadelphia where it's hard to meet Hong Kongers. job opportunity is better. healthcare is ok.
Would love to visit Philly someday! Have a good day!
Texas should have many Nam boys and MS13+Latin Kings, not only a few
🫡🫡 thank you

I think the kid was trying to impress me lol. It was a harmless act ;)
Australia and Canada are more suitable for HK people, U.S has too many wise guys
politics more than moral.
