"Obsession" is the most underrate EXO album, and I don't think there will be an objection. "Jekyll" is my favourite, and it has live performances in their concerts with "Obsession" costume (not in high quality unfortunately) Chanyeol and Kais' vocal is the biggest surprise in this album. Chanyeol's soft rap in "Groove" is as sexy as hell
Kai's vocal really stand out on this album. Ofcourse we have suho, chen and baekhyun but the absence of kyungsoo and xiumin give rise to the ever outstanding vocals of kai.
I hear you when you say Kai's voice is so unique. One of Kai's names is Voice Colour King. And a lot of reactors, vocalists, performers and people with a good ear for music also name Kai's voice as the most unique and favourite! I love it the most too, I can appreciate all of their voices (Baekhyun's makes me cry at particular notes), but you can never miss Kai's and it's so obvious for what reasons they put him as second voice in particular llines. I don't know if there's any other singer with such unique timbre.
I think DMUMT is leaning on the more Pop/mainstream side while OBSESSION is the most experimental, but they are both no skips albums (duh, it's Exo)...unless someone loves to hate for sport it's almost impossible for someone to dislike Exo, they literally have every freaking genre on their albums! I personally love DMUMT the most, but tbh there isn't a single album I didn't like! (ps: I get why day after day might sound weird at first, but after a while, it ended up being one of my favourites! give it another chance in the future!)

"Trouble" is my favorite song on this album, and the first time I listened with headphones, I got so into it that I slipped on black ice and busted open my knee at "Good feels bad, bad feels good," lol. Obsession is in my top 3 EXO albums, but my personal favorite is The War: The Power of Music repackage.
I love 9 of them and D.O. is my ultimate bias but I appreciate compliment for all of them. Kai vocal is warm and unique. They shine differently in different song. I love Sehun's part in Paradise. DFTF album, I appreciate more of Chanyeol, Kai and Sehun part even though I'm over the moon because D.O. is back hehe 💕

Agree with you. I listen to any KPOP in general. A lot of good song BUT, really... there's something about EXO that make you keep falling for them everytime you listen to them. They are not the best but definitely one of the best. I even feel am I bias? Because why do I like most of their songs? Group, Sub Unit and Solos... All different colour but I like it all. Funny but true. I guess their vocal combination make the best result in KPOP. Compliment each other so well. See how different direction of style they go for their solo and subunits.. we can have all of the in the playlist, we have all kind of sound!

It'll gonna be something beyond any others decision and expectation 😆. I didn't say the members above didn't rap. I even saw them rap (as a game) during EXO's showtime. Obsession has definitely been an experimental album for sure one that I had to listen to a couple of times but I can confirm is a non skip album~ Jekyll does have a live performance you should def watch it!! I will never get over Kai's vocals and I'm glad you always mention how much you like his voice don't know why you get hate for saying so when it's true the beauty of his vocal tone is so unique and colorful I can't help but be in awe everytime I hear his voice on the tracks. My faves on this album are groove, jekyll, yayaya and day after day (I do love this song very much but I can see where you come from when you mean it seems a bit out of place) overall the exos never disappoint when it comes to bringing amazing music 🖤

KAI's vocals is my favorite too in exo and D.O. is probably my fave vocalist in general. I really find their vocals very unique esp kai's honey tone. Though all the exo are amazing and a vocal monsters!
Chen's voice will forever be my favorite, but I love Kai's voice too for it's uniqueness, he's an excellent singer, and nobody sounds like him. I love them all. Honestly though I think Chanyeol when he sings, is my second favorite voice. I love his vocals more than I love his rap. Like I said I love them all. Their differences, make their harmonies even more fantastic.
I am just at the star of the video ( nearly 2 minutes into it) and YES! Before Obsession, THE WAR was my ultimate EXO album, hands down. Like I remember how hooked I was went it was released and how well the album was working from the songs placement inside the album to the overall style of the song. This album was absolutely perfection and still is. And then... OBSESSION happened... damn, OBSESSION is godly too! It was the first time till THE WAR since I was that hooked with an EXO album! DMUMT was really not my style so I just barely listen to it, but with Obsession, I was back listening to that album multiple times everyday for weeks! From the songs' placement, the contrast between the songs, and the overall style, I love everything. I still don't know if I like The War better or not but both are godly. They are both queens♡

When i first listen to this whole album, i didn't like it but after months of skipping this album when i accidentally heard jekyll i listen again to this album and d*mn i hate my self skipping this album. Obsession album and the obsession song itself is new in kpop plus the mv and the concept of this era, i actually miss obsession era i hope they create more of this era again.
This album really deserves also to be a million sells too..it is just too sad..

KAI's vocals is my favorite too in exo and D.O. is probably my fave vocalist in general. I really find their vocals very unique esp kai's honey tone. Though all the exo are amazing and a vocal monsters!

Chen's voice will forever be my favorite, but I love Kai's voice too for it's uniqueness, he's an excellent singer, and nobody sounds like him. I love them all. Honestly though I think Chanyeol when he sings, is my second favorite voice. I love his vocals more than I love his rap. Like I said I love them all. Their differences, make their harmonies even more fantastic.
I am just at the star of the video ( nearly 2 minutes into it) and YES! Before Obsession, THE WAR was my ultimate EXO album, hands down. Like I remember how hooked I was went it was released and how well the album was working from the songs placement inside the album to the overall style of the song. This album was absolutely perfection and still is.
And then... OBSESSION happened... damn, OBSESSION is godly too! It was the first time till THE WAR since I was that hooked with an EXO album! DMUMT was really not my style so I just barely listen to it, but with Obsession, I was back listening to that album multiple times everyday for weeks! From the songs' placement, the contrast between the songs, and the overall style, I love everything.
I still don't know if I like The War better or not but both are godly. They are both queens♡

This is my fave album and this was my first ever album by EXO so I can't fully express how happy I'm to see how you enjoyed the album. Also... Groove! I totally get how you vibe to the song, it is so unique and uplifting, I feel like everyone should listen to it if they're in need of some sunshine.
