I don't think Sehun was confident enough to sing because in their trainee days, he was trained to become a rapper. I am so glad Chanyeol was able to convinced him to be part of EXO-SC, I can hear more of Sehun's voice.. During live performances, you will see members smiling esp. Chen, D.O and Chanyeol whenever Sehun is singing.. So proud of them!!! They lift/support each other and happy for each member's achievements.. If EXO's title tracks are bop, you'll never be disappointed in their B-side tracks.. Most of my fave exo song is a b-side track though - First Snow, Wait and 24/7.. EXO is my go to playlist when I'm happy or sad.. hehe
Living in Asia, I'm lucky to have been able to see several EXO concerts and other EXO live appearances like Musicbank/SM Town. Believe me, everytime they start singing I marvel at how they sound way better LIVE compared to the studio recording. Even with the little missed lines now and then and even the occasional cute voice cracks, their vocal prowess and dance skills are top notch. They are talented, polished and professional yet despite that, they still continue vocal training classes till today. That's pure dedication and hard work plus love for their craft. I stan the right group of 9 young men. Each one of them is special. 💖

This was EXO in Tempo Era (Don't Mess Up My Tempo live stages), and the time when I started fangirling over them. I agree with everything you were saying here, from how Chanyeol's vocals is adding texture to the songs, to listening to live versus the album (whichever comes first is actually okay, this is EXO, they eat CDs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner) , to getting distracted by Kai (this was the point where I gave up and admitted to myself that I actually have a double bias in Kyungsoo and Jongin), to how beautiful their vocals and harmonies are (this is EXO, anyway), to how everyone could actually sing, to how we actually react when Sehun sings/raps his lines, I mean, YES SIR. 0xFesta is one of my absolute favourite stages by them. Just listening to their live vocals live is so wonderful. It's one of the live stages that made them my ult group, I truly fell in love with all of their talents because of this. Also the camerawork was so helpful when I was a new fan cause they always pointed to the ones that were singing/rapping

Chen actually was chocking from inhaling the smoke which came at him. He cracked his voice while singing his parts as well. You can see him putting away the smoke coming at him in the shots. That is the reason why Chen didn't hormonize with D.O. and ksoo being himself just looked confused at Chen. At least proving that they are not lipsinging.
Finally, after watching so many reactors reacted to this performance, I can see someone talked about Chanyeol's adlib in 24/7. Thank you Sir for appreciating his adlib, he deserves the praise

At the end, Kyungsoo looks at Chen as Chen misses his vocal. Sehun's rarity value can't be underestimated - others miss his gem moments, but EXO-L always appreciate his talents. It is so great to see how you respond to the individuals and not just the images. I'm a Kai bias with eight wreckers close behind, and I do get frustrated at how many reactors dismiss him as the 'sexy' one or the 'dancing machine'. He is the one who got annoyed when the others laughed with a presenter teasing a school girl for her weight, he is the one who was called 'nature's boy' because of environmentalism and love of animals, I could go on even though like any fan I only know the surface. Chen is not just a voice, Chanyeol is not just a super talented musician ... Thank you for not just putting them in boxes.

He is the one who got annoyed when the others laughed with a presenter teasing a school girl for her weight, he is the one who was called 'nature's boy' because of environmentalism and love of animals, I could go on even though like any fan I only know the surface.
