      @@Travel4taste You also should go to Wadowice to visit the museum of John Paul ll, which is located in the house where he was born. Being there you have taste his favorite pastries called " kremowki" in Polish. Enjoy!

    My Polish grandma called them chrusciki. I learned something new...faworki!

      I think it depends on the region of Poland. In the center, where I'm from we call it "faworki" :)

    Hi Marta! I'm looking into making your faworki. How long can you keep them fresh and crisp? Should I store them in a cookie tin? Sprinkle sugar right before serving?

    • @Travel4taste
      @Travel4taste  Рік тому

      They are definitly the best on the same day of frying. I usually sprinkle them with sugar as soon as they cool down, and often once more the next day 😂 we never managed to keep them longer than 2 days... 🙈

    Thanks a lot for sharing this recipe. Seems simple enough to do :-). Question: what will you do with that much left over oil after? Do you store it and use it in other recipes?

      😘🤗 After Frying all pastries, my oil has always a bit of burnt flour in it so I dispose of it...
