    What do you guys things about the threaded inserts and the exposed bolts? By the way, you can get the free plans to this bookshelf here diycreators.com/diy-rustic-bookshelf-and-storage/ and get the SketchUp model here www.patreon.com/diycreators

      DIY Creators, another great vid-thank you!
      I’ve never worked with threaded inserts-can you countersing the screw if you don’t want it exposed?

    • @JFKreations
      @JFKreations 6 років тому +1

      DIY Creators I dig threaded inserts. Use them on my projects too. I think the exposed hardware adds a good look if you do it right. Looks great on a rustic piece like this.

      That is a very nice look. It's not something I'd do myself but once I put something somewhere, I'm unlikely to move it.

      I actually like the threaded inserts and exposed bolts. I like that you try new things all the time and have so much knowledge and cool tricks. Blows my mind how you do things and make it look so easy.
      Thanks for keeping things simple and clear for all of us. You are very inspirational for us creative and like minds!!

    GREAT limited tool build. Thanks. You've helped SO much. i have a degenerative illness. & haven't actually built since my health caused me 2 leave a completed but unpainted project when a sudden storm hit. Fall became winter& it didn't get cleaned up until the snow melted(VERY embarrassing) Because i know i now would need help setting up & putting away tools i've found your site with 1person builds, technique hacks, & less tools a God Send. I'm not back in the shop yet; but the hope & distraction- thinking of ways to simplify your builds even more... have been a therapy better than any other.
    I've watched & commented on DIY channels for years now, never sharing my situation. But i woke my computer to ask Alexa to order me a Furrino shelf- it has a style like this & tool free assembly. instead i got alerted to this build, watched, printed plans from website & think this may be the one; the build that i ask for help &(mabe with pocket holes instead of dowels) i try. Thanks Again/ Lisa

    Отличная работа. Хороший дизайн. Очень понравилось использование фурнитуры в этой конструкции. Выглядит аккуратно и надёжно. Хороший пример для меня. Желаю успехов и ещё хороших идей. Спасибо за видео!

      Я посмотрел на купленную в магазине полку в этом Хорошем дизайне. Но мне очень нравится эта сборка намного лучше

    • @ogenmiller
      @ogenmiller 6 років тому

      @@geolisadrag-racing2349 я в магазине не встречал такой конструкции. Есть похожее в Ikea, но это мне понравилось больше, потому что можно сделать самостоятельно и все материалы - натуральная древесина. Какой язык для вас является родным? @@ogenmiller Да, магазины, используемые для продажи, с деревянными полками, разделенными кусками дерева, были, например, модные дюбели. Вы просто превратили кусочки в полки, которые легко собрать. Теперь я вижу их только с пластиковыми кусками между полками. Поэтому я рад посмотреть это видео. Английский - это мой язык. У меня есть некоторые медицинские ограничения. Я использую программное обеспечение, чтобы помочь. Это новое программное обеспечение.. Мой компьютер начал читать ваш комментарий ко мне на английском языке. Я чувствовал, что это здорово. Я ответил, и мой компьютер напечатал его по-русски. Это новое программное обеспечение, которое я тестирую, и я не владею им. Если он продолжит работать так, я отвечу по-русски. Мне нравится распознавать слово в моем ответе со словами в вашем комментарии. Может быть, я выучу слово или два.

      @@geolisadrag-racing2349 я вас хорошо понимаю. Перевод достаточно корректный. Очень хорошо, что компьютерные технологии помогают общаться людям, преодолевая языковой барьер и другие ограничения. И позволяют понимать друг друга лучше. Политики, к сожалению, делают всё наоборот.
      Я стараюсь общаться с людьми из разных стран, которым так же интересно творчество, изделия ручной работы из натуральных материалов. Сам тоже стараюсь многое делать то, что не купить в магазине. Но видео не делаю, потому что мои достижения достаточно скромные 😉.

    Really nice contrast with the frame vs with shelves. I like the choice of the espresso vs paint a ton since you still get that contrast, but you keep the wood grain throughout. Something like this would be really nice to mount some lights in for a nice indoor plant shelf.

    NIce, I actually was thinking about small book shelf similar to this, I wanted to use some bridle joints on the side supports and mortise and tenon for the cross brace. I want some practice on hand cut joinery. But this nearly exactly mimics what I have in my head!
