Before the Ukraine war started Russia warned that admitting Ukraine to NATO was a red line, but the west west ahead and said Ukraine would be joining NATO no matter what.
Now either they thought that Russia was bluffing or knew that Russia who react and wanted Russia to invade Ukraine (use Ukraine as a proxy to hurt Russia-Ukraine is a long way from them!)
Now exactly the same thing is happening with the nuclear threat.
I can't work out if they are absolutely stupid and think that Russia is bluffing, or totally mad and want a nuclear WW3.
