Your channel is awesome. Ive had a special place for CV's since i was a kid. Ive had so many different speakers over the years but my AT-15 are one of my favorites. Im going to be doing a remodeling of the cabinets soon. I want to modernize and strengthen them. Thank you for the videos.
You mentioned you're going to modernize them? What is that referring to ?? I so agree with you though. I have a set of AT12s purchased back in '91. I've replaced the surrounds I think three times per speaker (woofers only)... ... Still the best sounding speakers I've ever had
I used a "satin poly + stain in one" on a set of AR-2x speakers, followed 7 days later with the wax conditioner. The result was excellent, and I highly recommend its use. I restore Yamaha NS-690 and AR speakers that often need veneer treatment. I'm doing some AT-12's and am a little leery of the vinyl wrap.
Wish I lived closer - would love to meet ya and discuss Vega's ... I love them and have loved all your videos. Thank you for the work! If my 217Rs weren't so heavy I would ship them to you and have you restore them. Again thanks for your work!
Nice job! I love the unique front cover. Got me some DC 12 now.. Years back I had the DC 1515, but they need to much space and are hard to get or to expensive 😅.
Amazing works ! I have a rat that chew some wood in the back of my AT-100, do you have any idea on how to hide this please ? wood paste maybe ? Thanks :)

Looks good! A brown alcohol marker from Micheals works pretty good on the damaged veneer corners to cover up or hide the light areas.

How did the AT-12s come out?
