A legend was born
0:00 a legend was born
Like an action-movie with expensive cars and cool music! :D
Videos like this is what really makes youtube awesome. Informative and well done.
Awesome comparison and fantastic way of showing the race!!!!
Thanks man, glad you like it :)
Első megjegyzésem: mivel ez az első nem sokat vártam, és remek volt! Good job Balázs.
Excellent comparisons and mods. I like how much efford you have put into the video. Subscribed.
Thank you! More coming soon :)
cool tracked racer video
and a legend was born
"I guess Grandpa SquarePants was right. Don't run for a bus.
Especially one that's going up at a 90-degree angle."
I just finish building 42065 RC Tracked racer and now need to het rubber parts for more traction
mod it to have working suspension, it's pretty easy to do.
Awesome
I never knew you started your channel 4 years ago!
if i could buy it, i'd make it wider or use some sort of differential system. lots of ideas in my head now but little energy to express them
perhaps some kind of gearbox connected to two XL motors to power the back idler
@ls7orBust
Why? Might as well just buy a hobby grade RC car.
@@JohnConnor12 you are dumb because the satisfaction of having that u built the car makes it waaay better

You don't even know the context of my reply, yet I'm the dumb one? How could you considering that what I was replying to is gone... Talk about a lack of critical thinking skills. Also, you build hobby grade rc cars. Much more goes into that than any Lego build. Have a nice day, moron.
this video is brilliant, i see this set and did not think much of it, after watching it, just brought it and ordered a buwizz, what are the buggy motors ? do they come with it ? or are these separate? if so do you have a part number please.. ps just subbed great channel
thanks for the info
Really good test, where did you get the rubber bits for the tracks if you don't mind me asking?
Thank you :) I bought them on Bricklink, but you can probably find them on Ebay and other sites, the Lego item no. is 24375: www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=24375&idColor=11#T=S&C=11&O={"color":11}
RacingBrick oh awesome thank you, I actually own the Nexo Fortrex which has 66 but wasn't planing on opening it, do you think the rubber bits are a must have? They cost 20p each directly from Lego which is £15, a bit much but if they make the difference I'll consider opening the Fortrex for them. Thanks again for the help!
UzzyT they definitely help with the climbing abilities, and without the rubber bits the high-speed versions were more difficult to control.
WOW
Sorry for asking so late but given the fact that buwizz costs 130€ I would like to know if the pf battery box fits together with the buggy motors. I'd like to try that first before spending that much money.
+Notna Namrepeit The PF battery box can power 1 buggy motor, although not at full power and not at heavy load.
Your Competitors Are Quite Impressive My Favourite Was 2 Lego Buggy Motors + Buwizz + Rubber Track. Top Speed: 12Km
+RankSlave /GeekSphero thanks, that was my favoutite, too :)
Cool. I think the B-model looks better though. And kind of wish they came with rubber tracks, but then I guess it would be in only one size.
B model is higher so for speed and stability I prefer the A model. Rubber tracks are very limited for Lego, they only had fairly small ones as far as I know. If you add the rubber inserts to the plastic tracks the grip improves significantly.
Very interesting video, made me smile! I have one question: In the original model motors are linked one on the front and one backward: Have you experienced differences when going straight, if the motors are both linked in the back? I suspect that the different tensioning of the tracks in the original model could lead to not going properly straight.I hope I explained myself, sorry for my English :)
I saw no real difference with the motor positions. If you check the XL motors are mounted in a similar way, the Buggy motors were mounted on one end as it was easier this way to make room for the battery box and I needed the weight on the front to avoid tipping over.
Based on my experience almost all Lego motors have a slight difference in RPM so such tracked vehicle will never go perfectly straight regardless of the motor arrangement.
Thanks for the answer :)
Welcome to the hyoodraulic press channel. :)
First video :)
i can cntrol the buwizz with lego controller
No you can't. You can control the BuWizz with an Android game controller, but you need the BrickController app for that.
Knew the buggy motors would be the fastest.
Cool! What is the name of the track at the beginning of the video? 0:8 - 1:12
The title is "Evil streets", you can find it in the UA-cam Audio library
RacingBrick, thanks.
Hi RacingBrick!
Can you do instructions for the one at 0:39?
That would be awesome ;)
Thanks :)
If you talk about the 2 buggy motor version you can find some photos here: racingbrick.com/2017/04/42065-rc-tracked-racer-2-buggy-buwizz-details/
The 4 buggy motor version was just an experiment, not worth to do as there's no visible gain from the 2 extra motors
Yes, I meant the 2 Buggymotor version.
Thanks
umm what about one with L motors?
Here's one - ua-cam.com/video/-cHSWz8DP_g/v-deo.html
How many buggy motors you have?!??
I have around eight at the moment. If you're patient enough you can get pretty good deals on old Lego RC sets on Ebay.
Under £30 any of the sets?
Well, taking into consideration that the lowest price for 2 buggy motors on Bricklink is around £65 it's unlikely you'll get a full set for as low as £30. But I was able to get a 8366 Supersonic RC set for ~£80, if you take the 2 buggy motors out you'll still have some rare RC components and other ~400 Lego pieces to sell so the buggy motors can turn out really cheap at the end, potentially even less than £30.
And at 90 degrees ?!??😉
+The Lego Guys that's called free fall :D
RacingBrick 😂😉
So the BuWizz doesn't actually do a lot?
I guess it's not worth it then...
How did you get to this conclusion? Did you see the speed comparison?
Ha what the heck is a buggy motor tho, I need one.
This is a buggy motor: bit.ly/2hrpeXq
The clear winner is control +
The music in the beginning is very annoying.
