@@Noiselandco Totally. I'll have to check out the Fallen. I'm reading A Stitch In Time on kindle but it's my first DS9 book. Any top book recommendations you can give?
@@JosephAlanMeador I've only just started but I loved The Lives of Dax, a short story anthology with each story focused on one of Dax's past lives. I just read the Avatar duology as well and it's a strong start to the DS9 relaunch series that picks up after season 7.
DS9 is the finest example of Star Trek. Sisko, the Defiant, the Dominion. Freckles will never not be hot to me, just because of Jadzia. Pulse Phaser Cannons. Quantum Torpedos. Did I mention Sisko? I've heard that if you betray your uniform, he won't take it well...
I definitely need to find a copy of Dominion Wars. I've got Crossroads of Time for the Genesis, and I'm going to be honest that I've never beaten it. Though, my favorite is still The Fallen and I've played it a lot. I still say the mission on the Defiant where you're repairing it is the best in the game, but I also love the mission on SR-III a lot.
Bit disappointed you didn't mention Star Trek Legacy which bundled up Ent TOS TNG DS9 and Voy into one game. It included the station, defiant and Sisko
the only way i could get dominion wars to run on a modern pc was to set the desktop to 800x600 res (its native res it was made in), tho it wasnt pretty and the ui looked pretty bad like that and not that playable. I think theres probably better ways to get it to run these days, i wonder if fsr upscale or something could work on it these days.
A lot of the sound effects from the game sound as if they are ripped straight from Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin on the Mega Drive/Genesis...will always be a Mega Drive to me :D
Thumbs up as soon as I heard you say "the best Trek". Deep Space Nine really is the best. Great work on this video!
Thanks! My appreciation for DS9 only grows as I dive into their games and novels.

@@Noiselandco Awesome, thank you!
@@JosephAlanMeador I'd follow it up with Enigma Tales; I mean, you ARE already reading a Garak novel (excellent choice, by the way), so...
underrated and great video !
Appreciate it!
This was great! I always thought DS9 would be the best trek series to turn into a video game.

He *can* live with it.

I liked them all! Usually after working through some of the more, uh, challenging sections and getting used to the gameplay.
I love hanging out at Quark's in STO. Have you ever seen the people in Ops who made characters of the DS9 cast and afk there? Love it.
I need to play more STO! I made a B-line for DS9 when I first played but haven't seem much else.

Oh snap, good shout!
I never had a pc which could run dominion wars. Allways wanted to try it.
Runs great on modern systems! See the description.
