Hey Amir, thanks for the format of this vlog, its interesting to see other things in Yokohama aswell as the card shops. My favourite pick up of yours was those Entei cards, really nice and those Sunshine grapes looked good too.
The grapes had me dying, Japan’s mid to high end fruit game is hard to explain or comprehend.. just something you gotta experience. Cool to see the pokemon scene somewhere outside the major spots like Akihabara!
I have a couple of questions if you do not mind. How do you pay for cards when buying in Japan? or are you exchanging pounds into Yen in japan. Also, food, etc. I'm curious as to how easy it is to use a credit card in the stores. I don't see any price negotiations going on. Do the stores not allow that? THanks enjoying your videos.
I use an international card for the best exchange rates such as Wise/Monzo. Negotiations can sometimes happen with independent stores if you're spending a lot. Don't expect large discounts, however. Thanks :)
19:58 Yokohama and the outskirts of Osaka definitely it’s just much calmer and more relaxed 27:20 best part about travelling is going grocery shopping 😂 34:09 Udon on top! And yeah the Japanese do fried chicken right., 38:11 Noyvern waaay too cheap
If you treat this purely as an investment, of course it's not worth it. Just treat this as an experience with buying cards as an added bonus, you will feel better.

Haha thanks bro
Buying Pokemon cards in Japan is such a high end experience. Plus it's like treasure hunting for the most discounted cards XD
Pokemon card's in Japan are only worth trading if your from anywhere but Japan must be good to come to Japan on a currency conversion of $1.60 to ¥100

If you're not using cardmarket for the UK what are you using?
Mostly ebay
After paying $$ for flights , accom, food & other expenses is it still worth buying cards to sell?
