Thanks again for your help man. Super generous. Haha yes I couldnt believe my one-spin magic on the Scizor gacha! Not shown in the video: the handful of times we doubled up on something in a gacha chasing something different..
Just discovered your channel, love these POV videos and especially how respectful you are contrary to some other people ive seen on youtube. Also the vibes with your partner are immaculate and are lovely to witness
Thanks so much for all the kind words. Enjoy the channel! Two Japan POV vids, the Japan haul video goes live today, lots of Buyer POV at card shows to catch up on and Vendor POV coming up soon :) Good time to follow along. thanks again
Card-Secret is actually owned by an Australian who moved to Japan, so I think that's why their English is a bit better in general over there. They have a bit of a following over on Instagram where they've discussed some of that. I really appreciate you showing the interactions in Japanese. I'd really like to get to this level of speaking for my next trip, so it's really nice to see a bunch of real interactions like this.
Hey Oyama! Love the vids! How many Vs. series cards did you see? It was a Japanese exclusive e-reader set from 2001, I was wondering how available the cards were in Japan!
@@ZagelMedia thanks for always supporting the channel! Its hard to quantify but i absolutely saw vs series around. I wouldnt be able to point you toward a specific shop - maybe in Osaka the Book off i went into had a ton of vintage in general including e reader era. Theyre out there for sure!
@@haytertcg thanks man! Yeah ive heard that too, like most japanese card stores you can find things to criticize but I got several things there well under US pricing!
Heading to Japan in December, could you please translate what are you saying when you point some card out in the showcase ? Your Japanese is really good !
I have been to Japan twice now. I only bought psa 10 cards so I didn’t really need to showcase. If I would purchase raw cards, do you think they would appreciate it more if I would speak English, use google translate on my phone, or try to learn some simple phrases in Japanese? Also great vid as always, can’t wait to go back to Japan.
@@Sir_Konsti you can do a bit of all. Its hard to make a sweeping statement as to what everyone would like. As a general rule Japanese people tend to get excited when they see foreigners are learning some Japanese
I wasnt looking out for them, but other creators have done japan pokemon videos that mentioned those cubes! Maybe check out Dark Ibex and okjluv’s vids!
Great channel! I was so close to visiting Japan at one point. Had experience with MotionCapture and in 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity to visit Asia.
question for either Oyama or someone in the comments who knows - I feel like I saw a lot of cards bowed like those Mew EX promo cards from the UPC. Is that more common with japanese prints/holo materials? is it just that there's a lot of inventory? Or am I just imagining something
@@oyamastrading And I saw in your Osaka video how you bought 10 packs of 151 in the last store, do you think there are still some there? I'm currently in Osaka.
