Well didn't Noel dedicate cast no shadow to the genius of Richard Arshcroft in the liner notes? So I believe Noel agrees with you. Altho Noel has aged and matured much better than Aschroft in his craft in my opinion.

He then goes on to state: "Can You Here What I'm Saying, Got My Mind Meditating On Love" David Icke another truth seeker states "Infinite Love Is The Only Truth, Everything Else Is An Illusion". So if we look at what Ashcroft's is saying in light of Icke's statement: "Can You Here What I'm Saying, Got My Mind Meditating On Love [TRUTH]", what he is actually saying then, if you can hear is: "Satyat Nasti Paro Dharma” or after you "Check The Meaning": "There Is No Religion Higher Than Truth". great post man, i can now see a lot of the meaning Ashcroft was expressing both in his song and in his video. So we have the symbolic death of (orthodox) religion which in turn invigorates and empowers humanity, symbolised again by their ability to move a building with their bare hands. At the end he states (whilst religion slowly disappears from his hands) "I see you, I see me, it's my reality", in other words there is no religion left at the end of his quest for love, instead we are left with an empowered and united humanity. (however there is a major contradiction, as Ashcroft is still wearing the Christian cross while all of this is happening, this is a magickal contradiction which will not be explained in this brief translation).
On the second, literal (and arguably the most important and profound) level Ashcroft goes on to explain this journey of seeking something more than religion, he wants the truth and to a certain extend he does find it. (I will not be exploring the esoteric significance of his literal statements in this brief translation, but will simply skim the surface)
He makes the statement: "There's Gotta Be Something More" "when Mohammed, Allah, Buddah, Jesus Chris come knocking down by door" indicating that he is seeking something more than religion. He then goes on to state: "Can You Here What I'm Saying, Got My Mind Meditating On Love"
David Icke another truth seeker states "Infinite Love Is The Only Truth, Everything Else Is An Illusion". So if we look at what Ashcroft's is saying in light of Icke's statement: "Can You Here What I'm Saying, Got My Mind Meditating On Love [TRUTH]", what he is actually saying then, if you can hear is:
"Satyat Nasti Paro Dharma” or after you "Check The Meaning": "There Is No Religion Higher Than Truth".

great post man, i can now see a lot of the meaning Ashcroft was expressing both in his song and in his video. When it comes to my beliefs, Truth = Love = GOD... and its true, when we leave all religions behind, when we leave frontiers behind, when we leave doubts behind, when we leave DOGMA behind... all these things that clouds our minds and hearts... that day we will see and understand the truth which is already there for everyone to take it :)
