My family used to get annual passes for Disney world almost every year for the past 14 years, our passes just expired this passed summer and we haven't gone since June. It doesn't seem like that long ago but we used to go for at least 1 weekend a month. Disney is like a second home to my family and I absolutely adore these videos. They are of such great quality and they really capture the experience. Disney is so close to my heart and this is just really great! I just found this channel but I am definitely subscribing!
@@C.Q_Wilkenson That’d be even better, actually. Both the WDWRR’s locomotives and the Rio Grande’s K-36 locomotives, as well as several surviving Shay locomotives, are all 3ft gauge. Tunnel clearances may be an issue, though.
Sunny they’re both steam powered. I think you’re mixing up the 2. These trains are authentic steamers, however they run on #2 diesel fuel in order to power the train
Can you actually go over the rail crossing in this ride? If yu can, oh god, I would LOVE to just sit there and wave at the engineer as the train passes. sigh I wish they would make more railroad rides. ;-; Maybe a CSX or Norfolk Southern ride?
Raichu Railfan Productions well, this “ride” is an actual railroad, not a run of the mill theme park ride. The Walt Disney World Railroad is a typical narrow gauge railroad, except for the fact that the line is only 1.5 miles or so, and it doesn’t pull freight. So a CSX or Norfolk Southern ride would be something out of the question, as it is standard gauge and runs on diesel locomotives. Yes the WDWRR locomotives burn oil, but they use it instead of coal to make steam, so it’s still a steam engines. And to answer your question, no. Unfortunately, all crossings are backstage areas. It’s a shame.
I added to my WDW videos. Love the cast member waving the guests off. Wish all had that same winderful happy to be here vibe. 🥰

Back during the holidays in 2001, I was this train's junior conductor where the main conductor showed me how to press the buttons at the right order.
Fabulous ride. Just take à break and ride around the whole park. Love Disneyworld
A lovely trip.
Love this ride
Pp
a great ride. great as a break between thrills or a good first thing to do or even to view the park. Love it
I miss riding the Walt Disney World Railroad!!!!
That was absolutely awesome! Thanks for posting.
This video is SHARP! Good work!
I miss florida so much
Ah memories.
I love this ride! Just wish they would put some characters or sights up during the Fantasyland portion of the ride.
Great way to regain some energy
I tell you, the conductor of this train has a really good roast about the runaway mine trains of the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
When i go in January am going on that for sure
How there no station at tommrowland and they don't have the grand canyon part of the train ride how come?
Because this is Disney World, not Disneyland.
Michael Leadingham Disneyland Railroad has it, not the Walt Disney World Railroad.

do you know, which was the company which construct this one?
Great question, I'm not sure but I'll definitely try to find the answer
Just imagine if a Rio Grande K-36 could run on these tracks.
Medium Approach Medium Productions I think it could. It was the same gauge. The only limitation might be tunnel height and, or, width.
I would love to see this happen at Disney parks. I personally would love to see the shay locomotives run on them.

The one at Disneyland is a little bit better, although this looks great too.
Capt_ CJ actually both parks have diesel powered locomotives

Steam power is still used even today if you know where to just how we boil the water is different form the steam locomotive
How long is the ride if you do a complete circle?
This is the complete circle.
20 mins
I won’t drain lines when we visit Disney mean my Dan is to get up in the morning and then train Disney when we were there at Disney.
They have WRRS bells
the steam engine i was on wasn't even steam powered, what one was i riding?
Animal Kingdom train? It looks like a steam engine but is diesel powered.

ITS SO FAST I WENT ON THIS TRIP BEFORE IN 2021
Train Railroad Kingdom 12
Choo-Choo's-April
And so ended Sharp Productions footage of theme parks, apparently anyways.
This is not the train ride I remember from childhood
Either that or you were here in the early 80s/late 70s. Splash mountain, storybook circus, and more probably didn’t even exist when you first rode it.
I wanna drive a train :(
