That was not the only call they missed. Numerous hands to the face from their left tackle. They didn't start making calls for the Falcons until the last drive. Let's be for real. The league is ridiculous with cheating for who they want to win for their own narrative
that is literally what happened to the chiefs last game and they called it on the Bengals. He showed up early and apparently scott free, I was fine calling it on the Bengals it was obvious, this is just as obvious
Yes the Falcons had a second chance to get down the field and win. But every drive in the game a team has a chance to score. But it's hard to do that's why there isn't a score on every drive. So a purposely uncalled penalty in the endzone which would have gave the Falcons 4 more attempts on the 1 yard line, was a significant bonus for KC. The week before a not so PI call was called on the Bengals giving KC the game.
The refs & the NFL have handed the Chiefs the last two AFC Championships, the last two Super Bowl titles, & the first 3 games this year. There is no point to continue with this season. Just give them the trophy now so we don’t have to watch the NFL hand it to them in February
People say say, "let it go... don't let the refs decide the game." But in reality, penalties should be called as they happen. When they aren't the referees ARE deciding the game.
This is why when you buy a ticket to any NFL game, it states that it is for "entertainment purposes only", and "they will not be held accountable for the result of the game". Controversy gets people talking about the game, and inclines people to watch the next one, to see what possible controversy may happen in that game. More people watching, better ratings..........better ratings, higher cost for commercials. Higher cost for commercials......more money in their pockets. It's not a secret why they show Taylor Swift as much as possible when she attends games, the ratings go up from the "swifites" watching to see her. The NFL is a business, and like any other business, their objective is to make as much money as possible.
If that had been Travis Kelce instead of Kyle Pitts and Kelce had a Falcons defensive back all over him, do you think there wouldn't have been three or four flags thrown? Absolutely there would have been!

Okay, this is the most frustrating thing.. everybody keeps saying that the falcons had opportunities. No one is arguing that every team has opportunities. What we're saying is that the Chiefs always seem to pull it off on the last play of a game that's always controversial and in their favor. It's way too convenient and it's way too often.
"I get it, they miss things every once in awhile." -Herm They didn't miss it last week! I am a Bengals fan, and I would have been furious last week if the situation was reversed and we didn't get that call, it was blatant pass interference. But it's not just "social media" that sees a trend with the Chiefs getting calls in the closest of games, that LITERALLY hand them the game. What makes it suspicious, curious, and infuriating is that in the most crucial moments they see the foul committed against them, but not the fouls they commit. Mahomes and Reid are great, but it is getting ridiculous how many primetime, close, or important games they have that a yellow flag (or lack thereof) is the deciding factor. They are good enough, stop favoring the "face" of the league. Call it fair.

Sorry to say, but to miss that big a foul, there used to be money involved, there are typically seven officials on the field and they missed that call.
@@will-zj5gq People take a dim view of PI in the endzone. It's equivalent to taking the score of the team that was fouled, and subtracting 7. A referee literally cannot alter the game more than that, and that includes the PI call against the Jets last year that people still talk about (it got mentioned in the piece about the Falcons game on Sunday), where a WR ran into a stationary CB, the ball got picked off, and a referee who was standing right there clutched the flag in his hand, waited to see what was happened, and only after the interception three seconds later threw the flag. Talk about "outcome-based officiating". As for roughing the passer, the number of people who will say "yeah, that's fair" on a non-egregious roughing call against their team, I can count on one hand, and if you can't spot textbook PI, I have to wonder how objective you are about personal fouls and PI going the other way. I used to root for the Chiefs. Know why I don't anymore? Because like everyone in the NFL, I've seen them get the benefit of the whistle time and time again, and I'd just go, "well, it's not like they're the ones throwing the flags". That was until Mahomes freaked out over a 5-yard illegal formation, and all but went on "Oprah" over the injustice of it. If you're going to act like that, sorry Chris Jones, Carson Steele et. al. I still like you as athletes, but your QB is a primadonna.
Chiefs fan here, yes that absolutely should have been called. It was as obvious as the one the Bengals did in week 2. The officiating for the game was absolutely atrocious all night long: missed calls, phantom calls, picking up flags, confusion, just a complete and utter embarrassment for this crew and the NFL as a whole. Don’t feel great about this win, honestly, even if I think that the Falcons scoring there would have just led to the Chiefs taking their final drive a bit more seriously for a FG.

That Bengals PI was very questionable. And if you go back and review that play you will see Trey Hendrickson getting close lined and choke hold, which should’ve been holding and offsetting penalties
This bias against the falcons has to stop. It happened in the 28-3 sb also. The game was stolen by the refs. But still no accountability. Las Vegas rules, I assume. B.S.
The refs have to make these calls because Mahomes and Kelce are playing so bad. Mahomes is on a 3 game run of bad with 4 interceptions, while Kelce has essentially disappeared with no touchdowns! The league wants them as the face of the league so expect more of this garbage!
If you're gonna beat KC w/ Mahomes you have to maintain at least a 2 score lead bc the refs will always gift them one score - whether that's handing KC the score or preventing their opponent's score.
Just like when they asked Mike holmgrem after the Seahawks Steelers Super Bowl in Detroit home of Jerome Bettis what happened? It’s hard to beat the other team and the refs too. Facts the most truthful statement! Been going on for nearly 2 decades now ever since roger goodell became commissioner! Roger should be investigated!
The Chiefs are the most protected team in the league, next to the Ravens, because the NFL wants these scrambling QBs to do well while undermining legendary pocket passers like Aaron Rodgers and Joe Burrow, who would never lose a game if they started on those teams.

Definately was the last chiefs game ill be watching. probly nfl as a whole i like ncaa more
Noway the Chiefs won on a controversial call? NEVER!!!!
People say say, "let it go... don't let the refs decide the game." But in reality, penalties should be called as they happen. When they aren't the referees ARE deciding the game.
Goodell is just making sure KC gets home field advantage during the "payoffs".
Only solution is boycotting all chiefs games
If that had been Travis Kelce instead of Kyle Pitts and Kelce had a Falcons defensive back all over him, do you think there wouldn't have been three or four flags thrown? Absolutely there would have been!

Okay, this is the most frustrating thing.. everybody keeps saying that the falcons had opportunities. No one is arguing that every team has opportunities. What we're saying is that the Chiefs always seem to pull it off on the last play of a game that's always controversial and in their favor. It's way too convenient and it's way too often.
"I get it, they miss things every once in awhile." -Herm
They didn't miss it last week!
