I agree. There is a problem with handling the Ball, many risky passes when You Just have to hold to the Ball strike forwards, too many mistakes when You are playing the AB, however...the Uruguayans have the attitude. And could have scored at least 2 trys, on one of them that they did score actually, the player Just touches de outside line for 3 cms. The game was srll 0-0 then...
what Uruguay did here for at least 20 mins and Portugal against Aus showed is that the South American countries are areas where World Rugby should invest into and not from a way of allowing those areas to enagage head coaches from tier 1 countries. These two have played a really entertaining different style and this should be protected and promoted. The last thing we need is tier 1 prototype, they have enough there, just refining alot of skills particularly the forwards.
As an ABs fan I have that rare privilege of watching my team produce these results despite being the 4th best team at the moment. Wonder how many other teams can confidently bring up these results while being at the lowest point in their history.

It looked like New Zeland had twice as many players as Uruguay ! So much space ! This has been an amazing tournament so far with the best yet to come . Ireland have shown that the Springboks can be beaten but if the Scots can beat the irish by a certain number of points and the Sprinboks can get bonus points then Ireland could go home . New Zealand are hitting form right now and the French would be a good outside bet .
It was poor refereeing that cost Uruguay the match. If the referee had blown full time at the 20 minute mark....instead of allowing play to go on, Uruguay would have achieved a historic world cup tie against the All Blacks. World Rugby needs to look more thoroughly into investing in better referees.
The losing teams should be given a seperate tournament after the pool stages so that they can play in their own "shield" tournament in smaller cities to not only develop the teams but also to allow more people to attend games in the rest of the host country.

Epic first 20 Uruguay! tough guys and talented. Allot of mistakes from the ABs, you can see it’s close to working but need to prevent turnovers and drop balls if we want to beat SA,IRE or France.

Nah, give the Uruguay team another 4 years, let them play against tough team, they need to work on their handling and attack, the fitness is there, 20min, they could have scored 2 or 3 tries if they just didn't fumble the ball.. After so many mistakes, their spirit just dropped.. hence the large score... Otherwise this is not a disappointment for them.. More proud of them than how New Zealand played.

As 1/2 URUGUAYAN losing by 72 was expected
Our boys stood true 2 our anthem "is the vow that the soul pronounces, and which, heroically we will fulfill!" Our boys in our penalties went for the line/scrum instead of the post.
FYI we only got ONE team in SLAR, 7 palyers in FRance & 5 in US.
Of our player in France, 1 in Bayonne, 1in Castres, 1in Dax, 1in Nice, 2in Vannes. In USA 3in Miami Sharks, 2in Old Glory.
I know AB's were playing in 2º or 3º gear but still I'm proud what our boys did.
Its International Test Rugby- the best team of all time just thrashed your team, get better ,see you in four years if you qualify
Portugal is not South America
Portugal is not in South America bro...
At least Uruguay is south american😊

New zealand are still my surprise package for this package they have so much quality
As an ABs fan I have that rare privilege of watching my team produce these results despite being the 4th best team at the moment. Wonder how many other teams can confidently bring up these results while being at the lowest point in their history.
against Uruguay? Let's not get over-excited. Probably Ireland and SA would get a similar result... No disrespect to a valiant and exciting Uruguay side who punch above their weight.
@@robingentleman2574 France beat the same Uruguay side 27-12 so it's either NZ are improving and did really good or Uruguay just really sucked.

@@tysonwilson7588 or maybe France pitched a much weaker side against Uruguay and new Zealand had a world class backline. Those backs could beat any tier 1 team on a good sunny day. Whereas you look at the French squad that played URU, they will never dare pitch those backs - even against Italy.
@@djondou209 This was NZ's second team as well just shows the depth in NZ rugby. Can't say the same about IRE and Frances depth they're in serious trouble if they are missing a star or two especially in the case of IRE 4 kiwis on their team no depth in their own country

Ian Foster can again fawn over his beloved free flowing rugby. It works so well against Uruguay, Italy and Namibia, but funnily not so much against France and South Africa. It'll be a different type of game at the Stade de France next week. I'm already looking forward to Mils and JK's post-game whingefest.

@@carlosmayol agree bro. 3years and 8months seem perfect for the squad.
Uruguay looked very good at the start of this match.
The score line is harsh, but they did well.
Now bring on the A team for Ireland… we are through for the Quarter finals 🎉 Pay back time!!! Chur chur

@@mf060996
